FINALS: Samoa Joe & Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin & Rhyno - Solid tag match but I wasn’t as into this one as the earlier two. I am probably still disappointed by the actual results of the first two matches. Balor sold the leg like a champ for the most part but he is stupid for using his leg as much as he did.

Correction 4 for 4. Apollo Crews vs. Tyler Breeze - IT was fun seeing Crews show off his spots but Tyler working on the back was great. - In three matches, we have seen an injured leg, an attack on the arm and nice back work. This is my kind of shit. Crews is really selling the hell out of that lower back every time he moves. - I was really hoping that superkick would have won Breeze the match. I knew Crews was going to win but Breeze worked his ass off here. - Four matches in and all four have hit the mark.

Dana Brooke vs. Asuka - Man, great debut from Asuka. A lot of taunting early but keeping that arm in check is a-ok in my book. - Mma changing the tide from the outside is old school smart logical transitions. - Really impressed with both women here.

Rhyno & Baron Corbin vs. Jason Jordan And Chad Gable - The Olympian stuff looked real pretty early on but I don’t think there was much substance. - Pretty soon, they start focusing on Rhyno’s arm. - I really liked Corbin pulling Gable’s hair to prevent the tag. - The crowd is really helping the match more than usual. - Great stretch run by all four guys so props to them. - I would have liked to see the two actual tag teams find their way to the finals but both matches were super fun.

Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. Dawson & Wilder - High energy fun stuff to begin the match - I really liked the leg work by the Mechanics. Things like the partner kicking the leg from the outside or wrenching back on the single crab for 4 seconds before breaking the hold. - Wilder pulling Joe down by sneaking up behind him was genius. - Joe looked much better here than against Corbin. There was just a little bit of OOMPH to his moves. Fun but quick match.

CM Punk was pot-stirring on Twitter pointing out that Komen is a scam (almost none of the money actually goes to research) and everyone was jumping on him thinking he was just sour-graping at WWE despite there being tons of documentation out there backing him up. Sometimes the right message can be delivered by the wrong messenger. Said the same last night on Twitter. Doesn't really matter how much truth there is to what Punk is saying when people are tuning out the messenger, for varying reasons. If you think about it, my last post is actually a triple entendre. Punk probably isn't the right messenger to spread the word about Komen WWE probably isn't the organization to partner with if you want to be taken seriously Komen probably isn't the organization you want fighting cancer

http://placetobenation.com/between-the-sheets-11-september-29-october-5-1996 Kris & David are joined by Michael Rogalewski to discuss the week that was September 29-October 5, 1996 which features WWF in turmoil in New York City, comings and goings in Japan, Konnan vs. Antonio Pena at a tipping point, ECW getting red hot, and the early days of the nWo arent as great as we remember. This is a damn good show!!!

Kris is joined by The Cubs Fan (Luchablog) & Alfredo Esparza (Lucha World) to discuss the Lucha Libre candidates on the 2015 Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame ballot. Hell freezes over as Will is joined by Dylan Hales (Wrestling Culture) to run down what could be the last TNA PPV of all time. Should Kurt Angle still be wrestling in 2015? Has the X division run its course? Should you watch this show with the sound off or on? All of this and more on the latest Reaction Show! http://placetobenation.com/ptbn-reaction-show-tna-bound-for-glory-2015/

EC3 vs. Matt Hardy vs. Drew Galloway (TNA World Title) - I’ll give it to these guys, they worked hard but it was your typical three way with big spots and guys going in and out of the match. - At the end of the match, EC3 was trying to get a DQ in a NO DQ match. - They teased that Jeff was going to hit Matt but EC3 slapped Jeff so Jeff nailed EC3 with the chair and EC3 got hit with a Galloway boot. Galloway then got the Twist of Fate so Matt hardy wins. - I think the right guy went over since it was his hometown and all. -

Kurt Angle vs. Eric Young - Eric Young hits a Piledriver early on and they play it up as a huge deal with Angle’s neck. - Eric Young attacks the medical staff and hits Angle with a chair. - I don’t know how I feel about this since I am not emotionally invested in either guy. - A fan in the audience was dressed as Captain America and wanted the wrestlers to use his shield. The shield was more over than the match. Sad. - The finish was Eric Young tapping out to the ankle lock that Angle hooked out of nowhere after getting destroyed the whole match. - The match sorta sucked. Young was vicious early on but didn’t really attack it as much later in the match. -

Finishes haven't been stupid, TNA level finishes. Actually, everything so far has been on the up and up. -

Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim (Knockouts Title) - This was pretty good early on but the crowd is once again super dead. - Decent overall with Gail Kim taking a beating but Gail Kim gets a cheap rollup pin for the win and I wasn’t buying it. -

Bobby Roode vs. Bobby Lashley (King of the Road Title) - Man, these guys are getting no reaction. - This was a pretty good match but nobody cared until the last moments. - There is never a moment that I would believe Bobby Roode would ever beat Bobby Lashley -

Trevor Lee & Brian Myers vs. American Wolves - Bryan Myers is basically doing an AJ Styles tribute act the way he is dressed. - Trevor Lee’s flipping powerslam is nuts. - 2nd Wolves match I can’t complain too much about. When the heels were in control, this was pretty solid and the Wolves did their flippy offense to get the crowd into it. - Trevor Lee also hasa s super nice delayed German Suplex. I like this guy. - That finish was overkill but I can’t complain about the match overall -

BOUND FOR GOLD GAUNTLET MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Jessie Godderz vs. Al Snow vs. Eli Drake vs. O’Shea vs. Robbie E vs. Shira vs. Tyrus vs. Chris Melendez vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Abyss vs. The Pope - I guess the rules are Royal Rumble type rules, not someone wins and then someone else comes out. - For about 30 seconds, I really liked O’Shea. Nice punches - That Shira dancing thing is dumb as fuck and the crowd responds with boos - Fuck, Shira really sucks and I liked O’Shea so my guy is eliminated. This sucks. - Shit, Chris Melendez has one leg. That sort of fucked me up since I have never seen him before. - I’ll admit it, I liked Dreamer’s Dusty Rhodes tribute and he was the most over guy in the match - I just realized I don’t want to see any of these guys in a title match except that O’Shea guy. - Tyrus pins Anderson in a rather long but uneventful match. They should have just had Tommy Dreamer win. -

DJ ZEMA ION VS. MANIK VS. ANDREW EVERETT VS. TIGRE UNO Nothing but crash course spots and crazy dives. At least they hit all their big moves. If you saw the replay package, you literally saw every highlight in the match. Gregory Helms comes out after the match and nothing happens. -
