I know i've stepped back from PCW a bit but I picked a great night to check in. Two great nights coming up in San Diego. Dangerous K vs The Beast from the East sounds like a comic book title.

Kokina looks all but unbeatable as champion but both Big Bossman and the Ultimate Warrior are willing to give it a try. Look out AWA, Bad News Brown is looking for a brawl. Gotta say, I can't blame Reed. If I thought someone had cost me 100k and a Cadillac, I'd be pissed too.

The amount Winters owes Smith is rising. Seems that ECW may have solved the issue regarding it's champions as Hotbody returns to claim "his" title and the Batten's return to drop the tag straps.

The Enforcers take advantage of wounded champions to become the new world tag champions. Seems like the Nasty Boys had something to do with that but luckily for them, the Steiners have plenty of friends as well. General Skandor Akbar cuts a promo saying that Devastation Inc is now the dominant power in the UWF and while these stinking fans may not like it, they'd better learn to love it because it's not changing anytime soon. The Commissioner has another announcement to make, the UWF will be holding its first special live event! All Hallow's Evil will be held on Halloween night at the UCF Arena. A lot of big plans are in store for the event, namely that it will host the finals of a tournament to crown the first ever UWF Tag Team Champions. The tournament will play out across UWF television and will begin on this very episode. The tournament gets off with a bang as The Nightmares use their superior technical ability to get past Akbar's Colossal Kongs while The Russian Assassins go over The Patriots with an assist from a chain passed in by Vladimir Koloff.

I like the idea of offering fans vouchers if they show up in costume. Encourages turn out and ensures that the crown will look interesting on the home video. Curious to see what Hayes' solution is. Speaking of solutions, Austin found a great one to his numbers problem by recruiting Wildfire & Wahoo.

Hmm, I'm sure JT Smith will have no issues whatsoever collecting his reward from Larry WInters. Cosmic Commander has to deal with tension in the ranks. Cheetah Kid is off and running. Boss man rings DeBeers to justice. Demolition retain in an absolute slugfest. Chicky is exactly the kind of guy who'd throw a few bucks Slater's way to take out Colon. Ultimate Warrior brings the fans back by taking down Barby. Konnana survives Barr in a classic...that Vinnie missed entirely! Los Guerrero's tricks weren't enough to dethrone the lucha legends. Brown's temper, and Adnan's interference helps Kokina retain.

The wrestling nomad has found a new spot to settle down in. Hmm, I don't know if Philly is full of the kind of people Jimbo likes to groove with. Luckily Big Mama is there to help him win over the locals.

Knock Down, Drag Out to crown the inaugural UWF North American Champion. Rules: All competitors may come dressed as they are. All competitors are permitted to bring one weapon of their choice into the match. Eliminations can occur via being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. Eliminations will only be deemed valid if performed by a competitor still active in the match. Participants: Fire Cat Vampire Warrior (armed with what appears to be a sickle) Missing Link Ranger Ross (armed with an army helmet) Mike Graham Jimmy Valiant Vladimir Koloff (armed with a Russian chain) Boogie Woogie Brown Alberto Madril, Attorney at Law (armed with his briefcase) The Super Destoyer Papa Shango (armed with a bag filled with...something) The Dream Machine The Assassin Gemini Kid Doink the Clown (armed with a rubber chicken) & Armando Guerrero Order of elimination: Gemini Kid is eliminated by Armando Guerrero following a shot by Madril's briefcase. The Assassin is eliminated via a low bridge by The Dream Machine Fire Cat & Vampire Warrior are both eliminated by Boogie Woogie Brown while brawling near the ropes. Armando Guerrero is eliminated after a sequence where Doink tries to backdrop him out but Guerrero hangs onto the top rope and pulls himself onto the apron. Madril goes to hit Doink with his briefcase but Doink ducks and Madril nearly hits his own client. The two make sure everything's good before Madril turns to see Doink's rubber chicken coming right at him. On Instinct, Madril ducks and the chicken catches Guerrero right in the face knocking him to the floor. Alberto Madril, Attorney at Law is eliminated soon after. Seeing what has happened to Guerrero, Madril flies into a rage and winds up to crack Doing with his briefcase only for the clown to squeeze the flower on his chest spraying him with water hopefully. This stuns Madril long enough for Doink to throw him out where he lands on Guerrero. Vladimir Koloff is eliminated by Ranger Ross who ducks a shot with the Russian Chain and hits the "Combat Kick" which sends the Russian flying over the top rope. Ranger Ross is eliminated by The Super Destoyer while the former was distracted by Koloff who was trying to reenter the ring but was being held back by security. Mike Graham is eliminated by Missing Link & Papa Shango working together. Boogie Woogie Brown is eliminated after Papa Shango reaches into the bag he brought with him and throws some kind of powder into his face. This causes Brown to completely shut down and when Shango, Link & Super D come together to throw him out he doesn't even fight back. Doink the Clown is eliminated by The Super Destoyer when Doink tries to run the ropes but Super D runs after him and catches him with a lariat that send him up and over. Papa Shango is eliminated after Jimmy Valiant forces a "meeting of the minds" between him and Link which stuns Shango enough for Valiant to throw him out. Missing Link is eliminated by Jimmy Valiant when an enraged Link charges blindly and gets low-bridged by Valiant. Jimmy Valiant is eliminated by Super Destroyer following a low blow and another lariat. Dream Machine rushes up behind Super Destoyer and lists him up and over. Dream thinks he has it won but Skandar Akbar rushes over and catches Super D, helping him back in the ring. Super D lines up Dream who's celebrating with the fans and turns just in time to catch the lariat that sends him to the floor. Winner and the inaugural UWF North American Champion: The Super Destroyer! *There's still time left in the episode so we go to a stand-by match* The Power Twins (Dave & Larry) defeat Bad Crew (#1 & #2) be DQ when The Bruise Brothers stormed the ring and the brawl is under way. These four big, bad men are pounding way on each other and the poor security trying to separate them as the show fades to black.

Gotta say, Stud Stable did the only smart thing they could, getting out of dodge. SMW better find Bundy someone who can put up a fight. For everyone's sake. The last piece of the puzzle falls in place because the Rock n Roll Express are on their way. Hayes wants the tag titles, Gordy wants to focus on the Heavyweight title and all the while the West Texas Outlaws are circling. A 3-on-1 attack don't seem very Christian to me. Austin might want to start looking for some friends.

You know Halloween Havoc is gonna be huge when you need 90 minutes just for the pre show. Plus it's the perfect time to give us the match we've all been waiting for, Sting v Undertaker for the World Title. The Enforcers are ready to move on up to the top tag straps. Stars & Stripes are off to a good start.

Madril was poised to deliver the blow himself but Deadeye Dick & Black Bart ran down and pulled him off the apron causing the briefcase to fall into the ring and Guerrero cracked Bass with it while referee Bill Alfonzo was trying to break up the brawl at ringside.

Live from the Omni baby, let's do it. Dustin & friends fall to the rejuvenated Alliance. Badd & Long prove a capable duo. El Gigante joins the fight against Race's crew. Liger strikes down Savio. Losses in both title matches, plus friction between York & Tenryu cause major strife in the FOundation and Sasuke suffers for it.

Steve stuns everybody by beating Bundy. Shame nobody else will hear of it, I can just hear Dutch's teeth grinding together when he learned Garvin leaving the tournament meant that the bosses kid got in. Good thing Brad lost or Dutch would've really blown a gasget. Hayes wins a battle of two preening peacocks. Hennig douses the Wildfire. The semifinals see Austin beat the Tax Man while Hennig clips the Freebird's wing. The Bodies as SMW tag champs just feels right. Hennig caps off a perfect night and now we get too look forward to him & Gordy. THe main event stop backfires as the Bullet is left a bloody mess by the Stud Stable.

Great first round. As it stands, my gut says Vader's taking it this year.

Colon is coming to make CHicky pay. Andersson looks to b the Ace of the Happening battle royal. The Perez brothers strike again. The Mavericks don't have time to waste talking to their old manager. That six man title match is gonna be nuts. Fun promo train for two big hoss fights. Gamma makes clear he hasn't given up on Makhan. Vine's coins give Bar the edge over Konnan. Brown makes a hell of a statement by dropping both the champ and his manager. Still, it took two mic shots AND a Ghetto Blaster to put Kokina down.

UWF Fury Hour #8 Taped on August 15th at Studio 12 at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. Airing on syndication throughout the United States. Commissioner: Bruno Sammartino Commentary: Craig DeGeorge & Steve DeTuth Ring Announcer/Ringside Interviews: Boni Blackstone Match #1 Firecat vs King Cobra Cat is extra fired up (heh) tonight and crushes Cobra with the Moonsault. The winner joins Blackstone and makes it clear, he wants Vampire Warrior one more time! Match #2 The Patriots (Fire breaker Chip & Todd Champion) vs The Creatures Solid showcase for the newcomers who finish the masked men with a suplex/flying crossbody combo which the announcers dub the "Emergency Evac". Ranger Ross joins the Patriots who cut a rah-rah promo vowing to take the fight to those Russians. Humorously, Doink the Clown shows up armed with a Super Soaker and spends the promo making action movie poses in the background. Credit to Ross & co, they stay on task though they can be seen holding back a laugh or two. Match #3 The Dream Machine vs "Bad Man" Barry Horowitz DM shows off the classic Memphis style and while Horowitz puts up a decent fight, he is sent off to dreamland courtesy of a sleeper hold. He joins Blackstone who asks what brought him to the UWF. Dream Machine: Well let'me tell ya Miss Boni Blackstone ol' Dream Machine was up in his house in Mempho watching the world go by babay. Won't no wrasslin coming to the Grind City anymore babay and my phone was as quiet as a church mouse. I was startin' ta think the wrasslin bissnass didn't have a place for ol' Dream Machine anymore babay but then I was flipping through the channels on my ol' TV set when I found tha UWF, that Uni-versal Wrasslin Federation babay and I said to myself I said "that's the place for me babay". So I called into the office, I talked to mr Herb Abrams , I talked to that livin' Legend mr Bruno Sammartino babay and they both said that same thing, they said "Dream Machince, there's a place for ya down her in Florida babay". So now ol'd Dream Machine is here in the Sunshine state babay to prove to these great fans here in studio 12 and to wrasslin fans all around the country that the Dream Machine is still that baddest man wlkin' both sides of that Mississippi babay and today was just the beginnin'. Thank ya kindly for yo time Mrs Blackstone. News from the Wrestling Universe: Joe Pedicino runs down the fully revealed card for the AWA approaching PPV, The Happening. He also recaps UWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino's announcement regarding the crowning of the inaugural UWF North American champion and says details regarding the match to crown said champion, the Knock Down, Drag Out will be revealed next week! Main Event Mike Graham vs The Super Destroyer w/Skandar Aakbar Graham gives a spirited effort but some well timed interference by Akbar puts him in perfect position for the Super-plex. Akbar ends the show by shouting into the camera that Super Destroyer will be the first ever UWF North American champion no matter how many people he has to beat.

A dozen matches and I wouldn't miss one.

Great lineup for the Battle of Kentucky tournament. TNT flips the script and challenges the Bodies to a tag title match. Oh i'm sure Gordy loves the idea he need protecting. This exchange killed me! Seems Mr Wright can add forgetfulness to his long list of ailments. Damn, Fuller & Golden pissed Garvin off so much he takes himself out of the tournament. Plus they pissed Bullet off so much he's stepping back in the ring and putting the four of them in a cage.

DeBeers and the Boss man get us started with a good old fashioned parking lot brawl. The Happening battle royals is really filling up, Tiger & Southern just can't decide a winner. Someone just made Slater an offer. Warrior gets some payback on Barby. The Mavericks are moving on.
