Shameful hos unprofessional some people ca be. Taylor still thinks he's the cock of the walk. DWB lives up to his name. Medusa shows there's no weak link in her team with Austin. The DC show they can hang with the champs. Seems Rich has found himself a new family. Savage closes out the year with his title reign intact.

Championship Wrestling clearly knows where the money is because PIP was all over the show, from verbally jousting with the commissioner to winning the main event an finally brawling with the top faces of the territory.

Southeastern Championship Wrestling (1991 Revival)
ErictheDragon replied to Jimmy Jack Punk's topic in Programming
That opener was hilarious and another masterful showing by Alberto Madril -Attorney at Law. JYD is taking on all comers. Gotta hand it to RPG, between Kabuki, Killer Brooks, JJ Funk and now Embry he really has signed some of the bigger names from Texas. And if that wasn't enough we've got JC Ice threatening to bring in the Memphis Mafia. Southeastern fans got a treat watching the entire first round of the tag title tournament play out on TV. Taylor fends off Madril's interference and shows that he isn't done chasing Armando. -
Another classic AWA recap. Can't wait for SuperClash.

Massive card heading to the Tokyo Dome to close 1990 with all the bangs.

Nice to see the Brigade having a good time. Dang, even being on a beach in Hawaii and seeing Tine in a bikini isn't enough to lift Scotty's mood. Piper's still finding ways to cause trouble though. I like a guy who dances for himself and nobody else. Keep on dancing Stevie.

Southeastern Championship Wrestling (1991 Revival)

Having JYD as the champ will go a long way to strengthening the USWA ties. Nice bookend having DJ successfully help her man in the first round only to accidentally cost him the finals. RPG found quite the killer in Kabuki. Alberto Madril - Attorney at Law is always on hand to assist his client. -
(During a special Christmas Eve addition of WWF Prime Ttime, we get two more vignettes showing talent debuting in 1991) Nighttime on a grassy plain. We zoom in on a raging fire where Wahoo McDaniel stands a serious expression on his face. The shot widens and we see two more figures come into view. One is instantly recognizable as Tatanka, the other is a young native American man his face adorned with war paint. Wahoo gives a signal and the two rush each other. Tatanka clearly has the edge as the tussle about but the other man is tenacious and no matter how many times he's shoved away he gets up and comes right back. Finally he gets a hold of the right leg before lifting Tatanks off the ground and riving him down into the dirt. Wahoo gives another signal and the action stops. He approaches the two who stand despite their mutual fatigue. there's a brief silence before Tatanks breaks out laughing and slapping the younger man on the shoulder. Wahoo beckons the younger man over and presents him with a full feathered headdress. The three turn to face the camera, the very image of a united front. Blazing a trial in 1991...The Navajo Warrior! The camera slowly approaches a lone bull hauler. Suddenly the vehicle begins to shake about as muffled shouts can be heard. Shot of rodeos clowns running for their lives, Bull fighters whose reflexes were just a second too slow and even from the world famous running with the bulls, all showing what happens when a person is caught by a enraged Bull. As the clips play, the hauler shakes ever more violently, the bellowing getting louder and less human. Finally the the door of the hauler flies off and a large, bulky man wearing a bull helmet charges the camera, roaring in absolute fury. Charging into the WWF in 1991....The Minotaur! Tune in next week for the WWF year end awards!

Spaldoni and I talked it out, it's all good.

I thought Hercules was staying with me? Brunzell is currently on my roster.

RVW's first promo doesn't disappoint. Johnny Hotbody was the star of the show as he takes down the Crazee before joining the top heel group in the territory.

Leave it to Dibiase to make it a working vacation. Severn is surprisingly inspirational when he wants to be. I'm with Hamrick, PCO's diet regiment sounds just my speed.

Demolition ends the Final Brawl with a clean sweep. R.I.P Josh. DDP. Bradstreet whatever you call him he came through for the Freebirds tonight. Sid decisively wins the battle of the Giants. Barbarian learns the hard way that you want to keep Nikita far away from his chain. Pillman chops down Hall to become the best wrestler on TV. Hennig becomes a made man by taking down the Dragon. Muta finishes the job Pillman started by taking all the gold from the Dangerous Alliance. Doom may have just put an end to the Rockers. Sting gets the Luger he wanted and still comes out on top. Race has found a new monster who violently cuts ties with Luger.

Well it looks like Lawler has been vindicated in his distrust of Rich. Personally though, i'mm looking forward to Tommy's response because Lawler was pushing him pretty hard. Still, an easy first round match for the Bossman. Austin & Jarrett know each other a little too well. Always nice to hear from Gene. Hart's interference pays off this time giving the Hammer some payback. Scott with an impressive display in his first round match. Missy certainly thought so. Steiner goes bck-to-back by putting down the Hammer. Road Warriors run over the masked men. One things that stands out as you research the Steiner Bros is how early promoters realized that Scott had it in him to be The Man. Jerry Jarrett agrees and December 1990 marks the beginning of the Steiner era.

Nice to see the Peach Patrol enjoying a day at the beach.

Southeastern Championship Wrestling (1991 Revival)

I've followed every version of a Southeastern territory this game's produced and based on this episode alone, you're on track to be a worthy continuation. You even brought back all the main players like Fuller, Platt & RPG! Love the callback to the PWF. Looking forward to next week's return of Alberto Madril, Attorney at Law. Looking forward to Violent Night. -
I'm with Rain, can't blame the Horsemen for getting the hell outta dodge. Debeers is fired up. The Blazing Dragons have all the momentum heading into SuperClash. Gama and Sammartino vow to keep it friendly. Some strong promos tonight. Tribal Nation are ready for the Tornado tag. Iceman gets the W but Burke leaves him cold. Arcini couldn't wait to give his boys a hand. Well looks like it's time or Vinnie to have a falling out with another client. Morrow steps up to make sure the World championship match goes off without a hitch. A heated exchange between champion and challenger makes for a great end to the episode.

Hennig v Muta on free TV? Sounds like a great deal to me. Luger's sending Race some pretty clear signals but i'm not sure the legend is picking them up.

(During this week's year end recap, two vignettes aired showing a pair of talent who will be making their debut for the WWF in 1991) Brooklyn NYC, night time. Outside shot of a night club that's clearly seen better days. Cut to inside where a small but lively group are dancing the night away to The Trammps "Disco Inferno". The camera move through the crowd before setting on one particular dancer. A good bit younger than the rest with a good build and meticulously coiffed hair, he moves with an energy that lights up the dance floor. We linger on him for a memento before he turns to the camera and flashes a winning smile. Coming to prove that disco will never die....Disco Inferno! Establishing shot of a mental hospital. As the camera slowly pans through the abandoned building shadows dance across the wall, rats scurry across the floor and wind howls through broken windows. But cutting above it all is the laughter. Laughter that grow slowly, steadily, oppressively as we wonder through the dirty, debris laden hallway. Finally among a row of closed doors that the viewer can surmise housed the patients of this facility, we find one that's open. Inside a bald, stocky man is drawing on the walls with....something as he laughs to himself. Eventually he notices the camera and he drops the utensil he was using to paint the wall. His laughter gets somehow louder and more manic before he rushes the camera. Static but we still hear the laughter. Unleashing madness in the WWF....Horace the Psychopath!

Another fun weekend of WCW programming. Muta seems to at least be making an effort to be a team player.

Tasha thought she and her boys pulled a fast one last week but the new commissioner puts her in her place. The Crazees get their first TV win. RVW once again proves to be a delight. Unfortunately for him, there's a second dog on the hunt in Championship Wrestling.

The night you get exposed as thee podunk pretender you are and the night the WWF gets the TRUE King it so desperately needs. *Sliding cut to Dusty & Dustin Rhodes* Dustin: Funk, you've been targeting this family for far too long and tonight we finally bring the so-called "King of the Outlaws" to Justice. Dusty: Terry Funk, you mangy, flea bitten coyote! You thought you could kill the Dream at Summerslam but you of all people should'a known that the Dream never dies babay! *Cut to a wide shot of a sold out Civic Center* Chris Benoit defeats Dynamite Kid. Midway through the match, Frenchy Martin walked down to ringside but made no immediate move. That changed when DK had Benoit in position for the diving headbutt. While the ref was checking on Benoit, Martin claimed up on the apron and shoved DK to the mat. This allowed Benoit to regroup and catch DK in a dragon suplex as he staggered to his feet. After the three count, Martin got in the ring and raised Benoit's hand. WWF Teg Team Championship. The Ronin (Kensuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Hase)(c) vs Power & Glory (Paul Roma & Hercules) w/"Sensational" Sherri Martel by DQ when Herc is caught hitting Hase with his chain. The action continues with all four men fighting their way to the back. King's Court Match. Jerry "The King" Lawler defeats "The Golden Warrior" Kevin Von Erich(k) when a scuffle among the Courtiers allowed Lawler to retrieve a set of brass knuckles which he laid Von Erich out with before pinning him with a second rope fist drop. Texas Tornado Match. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes defeated The Texas Outlaws (WWF Champion Terry Funk & Manny Fernandez). Dusty & Funk were honed in on each other the whole match and ended up brawling through the crowd. While Earl Hebner tried in vain to get them back in the ring, Black Bart snuck into the ring with Funk's branding iron and lined up a shot on Dustin only for The Natural to duck and Bart to take out Fernandez instead! Bart was stunned at his screwup allowing Dustin to take him out of the Ring with a lariat before pinning the still out cold Fernandez. Main Event. Golden Opportunity Battle Royal. Winner claims the #30 spot in the 1991 Royal Rumble. Participants: Berzerker, Kokina, Vader, Silver King, Nikolai Volkoff, Jake Roberts, Curtis Hughes, Nailz, One Man Gang, Earthquake, Tito Santana & The Ultimate Warrior Order of elimination. Kokina gets low bridged by Santana. Volkoff gets dogpiled by all three of Slick's men and tossed out. Hughes is muscled out by the Ultimate Warrior. Nailz and Roberts are double teaming Silver King but then Jake just shoves Nailz over dumping them both out. Berzerker goes for a running boot on Santana who ducks and the big man's momentum dens himself over the top. He catches himself on the apron but a dropkick from Santana sends him to the floor. Vader & Earthquake are pounding on each other near the ropes when OMG comes over and lift them both over. Ultimate Warrior tries to capitalize with a clothesline but OMG bulk keeps him grounded. A second one has the same result. Warrior gets a sprinting start and this time the Gang goes over but Warrior's momentum means he ends up following him out. Santana and Roberts have a pretty good mini match in the closing stretch but Santana makes the mistake of attempting a blackbody drop on the master of the DDT. A brief struggle to get Santana back on his feet is all it takes for Roberts to send him over the top. Winner and claiming the #30 spot in the 1991 Royal Rumble: Jake "The Snake" Roberts!

Alex Wright with the Sinister Minister? Not a pairing I would have thought about but it could work. PCW getting a Thrilling new trio.
