  1. I don't believe anyone else mentioned a bounty Tasha. Looks like PiP didn't blow off enough steam. And with Hotbody so focused on the TV title, I don't see things getting better.
  2. Poll closes in three days. If you haven't voted yet, there's still time.
  3. I've got a few ongoing stories on AO3. I'm also on alternate history.com where I've got a couple projects going, namely imaging what rejected films/TV shows for DC Comics and Disney would look like. I actually just wrapped up a similar project related to Marvel. I've also got some wrestling related ideas that aren't straight forward bookings but incorporate more behind the scenes elements. Those will probably go on althistory when I get started on them.
  4. Tito's challenge is answered in just about the biggest way possible. The Nature Boy is back in the WWF!
  5. I have a LOT of projects -not all of which are related to armchair booking- that have been sitting in the idea stages, some of them literally for years now. Not to mention my other ongoing works/stories on other sites. Taking my leave of this game is meant, more than anything, to allow me to focus on those.
  6. Gotcha. It was a suitably WILD night at the Armory.
  7. I thought this Friday was Wild Dog's shot? Eh, i'm sure the fans enjoyed seeing BPD take a beating.
  8. R.I.P to the Lover Boy. Tina's running out of patience with Candido.
  9. Austin has to be so pissed that none of his Idol's made it past the first round. Creepy segment with Shaw. Colon makes sure he stays warmed up to ace Mascaras. Figures Brenda is doing what she can to help de champagne man make it through the tournament. Hogan gets his first real bit of revenge by heating Hashimoto.
  10. I like the formula you're developing for the house shows. Captain Redneck has landed himself in some hot water.
  11. Armstrong and Jannetty could have a future together. It was 3 against 2 and the 3 were outnumbered. Pretty Wonderful have got to be going for gold soon. Bad times on Badstreet. Dusty levels the playing field allowing Nikita & Dustin to take the w. Ventura's been in charge for 30 damn minutes and he's already stirring the pot. DDP shows potential but was no match for the man called Sting. The Road Warriors are back and all hell breaks loose. Owen's return wasn't enough to take the title off Sid.
  12. Good idea giving the battle royal the whole show. Definitely some tension in PiP but at least Tasha can take solace in Hotbody becoming #1 contender.
  13. Just put up a poll of various ideas I've had for my next project. Feel free to vote for the one you like! https://forums.prowrestlingonly.com/topic/58345-help-decide-my-next-project/
  14. Spivey punishes Putski. Duggan completes the set with a win over Warlord. Tito and the Twin Towers are quickly racking up the defenses.
  15. This poll will help me decide which idea of mine I focus on next.
  16. Bart & Valiant would make a great odd couple. Especially if Capt Lou is able to make it next time. I'm sure the Warlord tried to help but Hacksaw is on too much of a roll. The Twin Towers make their first defense. I'm sure many more are to come. Jake's alliance with Andre starts to pay off. The First Family score a big win in the six man tag but Bravo couldn't secure the top prize.
  17. He's right. I remember it was Bruno-Dr D- Hogan and from there the list is accurate. Though Piper was technically still champ when Low blow took over. (You can see that in his first WWF post),
  18. Monsoon & Lawler was the duo I didn't know I needed. I think Uncle Ivan might be running out of patience with the Pitbulls. President Tunney hasn't been seen in a while but he returns with a number of huge announcements. Love the promo train. Tito is wasting no time showing everyone why he's earned the belt meanwhile the Mouth of the South is here and he's got a stacked group already. Titan makes an emphatic debut. Tatanka has drawn the Ace's attention. This could be a problem. Shocking development on the Brother Love show as Jake follows on an earlier promo by turning Andre against Snuka. Kid puts his beef to Benoit to rest and Martin's abuse leads to the two reconciling. Great moment.
  19. Appreciate the kind words on Mania. Glad to see that the WWF won't be sitting idle for long.
  20. And that, friends is my final show in this game. For the time being at least. I want to thank you all once again for your kind words over the years and I hope you'll look forward to my future projects.
  21. Free For All "Thrilling" Tom Brandi defeats The Genius by avoiding the "Honor Roll" and hitting a groggy Genius with a flying body press. Tornado tag match High Energy (Koko B Ware & Tom Zenk) defeats The Bolsheviks (Ivan Koloff & Boris Zhukov). The Russians toughness and willingness to fight dirty meant that High Energy had a rough going but they pushed through and claimed the win via a double missile dropkick on Zhukov. Live on Pay Per View from the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield Ohio, The World Wrestling Federation is proud to present the Pro Wrestling event of the year.... https://youtu.be/I6dCuiSgC5k?si=4mVYNLEKS3DSXGiQ&t=24 Six Man Tag Elimination Match The Commonwealth (Biff Wellington, Danny Boy Collins & Dynamite Kid) vs The Northern Invasion (Chris Benoit, Dino Bravo & Kerry Brown) w/Frenchy Martin Order of elimination: Dino Bravo pins Danny Boy Collins with a running power slam. Kerry Brown pins Biff Wellington after a distraction from Martin. Brown is disqualified by refusing stop attacking DK who was in the ropes. Bravo is eliminated when DK counters a power slam into an O'Conner roll. Benoit is eliminated when he misses a diving headbutt allowing DK to hit one of his own. Sole survivor: Dynamite Kid Regis Philbin makes his first appearance interviewing Jake Roberts. Give Philbin credit he does a great job selling being disturbed by Jake who is clearly having fun messing with him. Roberts says that tonight's the night the snake strikes and it's target isn't the Warrior himself but the mythos the WWF has built around him trying to act like he's some sort of real life Superman when all he really is is a painted up freak who's popular with the kiddies cause they're the only ones who can be convinced that madness he spews is cool. Tonight he reminds the world that these is a man's sport and he's the most dangerous man this sport has to offer. Special Guest Referee: Dick Murdoch Black Bart defeats "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. Murdoch called the match right down the middle until Fernandez brought a chair into the ring only for Murdoch to snatch it away. Fernandez is shocked and an argument breaks out which sees the Raging Bull getting increasingly animated starting with light shoves before ultimately slapping Captain Redneck right in the face. Murdoch fires up and levels Fernandez with a strong right hand which gives Bart the opening to hit the "Texas Trash Compacter" for the three. King's Court Match Jerry "The King" Lawler(k) vs Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake ends in a no contest when Lawler starts a massive brawl amongst the courtiers which eventually spilled into the ring. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan defeats Col Debeers. This match may not have had much build but that didn't prevent this from being an all out war. Debeers attempted his face first Pildriver only for Duggan to turn it into a back body drop before flooring him with the "Three Point" lariat. WWF Intercontinental Championship "Walking Natural Disaster" Earthquake(c) w/Frenchy Martin defeats Billy Jack Haynes in a major hoss fight that saw Earthquake power out of Haynes Full Nelson before eventually winning with his self titled splash. WWF Intercontinental Tag Team Championship New York Street Fight The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs)(c) defeats The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers). Pure chaos as The Fantastics do surprisingly well in the no rules environment but in the end, this is the Nasties world and they hold onto the gold after putting Rogers through a table via "Welcome to Nastyville." Kathy Lee Gilford is with Tito Santana. Santana says this is the moment he's dreamed of ever since he fell in love with wrestling as a boy in Tocula Mexico. Everything he's done since the first time he stepped into a ring on Feb 23 1977 has led to this. He tells his wife and sons that tonight he's doing it for them, he's doing for all the children watching tonight just like he was all those years ago and he's doing it for himself to prove that the past 14 years of blood, sweat and tears have been worth it. If Brown wins he gets 5 mins with Slick. Bad News Brown defeats "Dangerous" Dan Spivey w/Slick after Slick accidentally hit Spivey with his new cane. Spivey didn't go down from the cane but he did for thu "Ghetto Blaster". No sooner than the ref counts three Slick tries to sprint to the back but he's caught by security and taken back to the ring. The next 5 minutes are undoubtedly the worst -and longest- of Slick's life and by the time they're over, Brown actually looks happy for once while Slick's carcass is dragged away. WWF Tag Team Championship The Twin Towers (One Man Gang & King Kong Bundy) defeat The Ronin (Kiro Hase & Kensuke Sasaki(c) when Bundy took advantage of a distracted ref to hit Sasaki with the Avalanche leaving him open for the 747. Jake "The Snake" Roberts" defeats The Ultimate Warrior. Roberts hit a DDT on the floor which almost netted him a countout win but Warrior barely beat the count only for Roberts to immediately pounce with another DDT for the win. Gilford is the special guest ring announcer and Philbin joins on commentary for the main event. WWF Championship Tito Santana defeats Terry Funk(c) after surviving a couple sessions in the spinning toe hold and even Funk's Piledriver before forcing the champion to submit to the figure four.
  22. Sid targets another of Smith's in laws to send a message but it backfires as Smith slams him again. The Alliance looks to clear the board at the Clash. Why do I get the feeling that Rougeaou/Border Patrol vs Pillman/igante isn't quite the handicap match the heels think it is?
  23. Wow, Scotty's really got Stevie trained. The Thrillseekers win the trios tag titles ferda Brigande!
  24. There's a Tidal Wave coming to Champagne Slam. The Hangman could be looking at quite the harvest coming up soon. I was a little sarcastic last week but The Bunkhouse Boys challenging Garvin & Slater should be a fun brawl. All Norton's power couldn't keep Burke from advancing. Konnan survives battling a Tiger on his quest to bring the World title to Mexico. Great promo exchange between Morrow & Hogan to close out the show. Also looking forward to the Hulkster taking on Hashimoto next week.
