The Rock is seen as a samoan. I know it's absurd anyway, since there's no such thing as race, but that's the way it is, he's really more seen as part of the samoan family than anything else. The Rock is seen as Samoan as a part of the wacky wrestling Samoan family deal. Only hard core wrestling fans see him as Samoan. Hey, he ain't white and he was/is one of the biggest stars ever in pro wrestling. That should be good enough for people debating his DNA in relation to his fake fighting belts.

Has Punk ever said he won't take a Tylenol? I'm thinking the serious painkillers that often turn into an addiction amongst wrestlers are something he avoids.

Pro Wrestling Magazine Memories(NOT from WWF Magazine)

Exactly. Those were the big four. Sports Review Wrestling was always the "red headed step child" of the line, but I remember it being my favorite one. -

I distinctly remember the WON saying that moving up the draft was a panic move in response to Edge's retirement. Speaking of which, they're now reporting that Hero and Castagnoli had WWE tryouts and they both went well. This ought to be interesting, since we all know how much the WWE loves tag teams and guys who made names for themselves outside of the WWE machine. Yeah, CM Punk, Sin Cara, and Danial Bryan are just being buried. edit: Sorry, that came off douchey. Still though.. -
To bring this all back home, considering Punk is friends with lots of other wrestlers, many of whom probably do use painkillers, and probably read his twitter shit...don't you think that Punk's tweet was just a joke?

So is cocaine. Granted, novocaine doesn't have any euphoric effects, but they're in the same class of local anesthetic. Novacaine also doesn't get you as speedy as a jackrabbit, get you horny as fuck, and make you into an asshole. Sorry, as someone who had a bit of a coke problem a few years ago, the comparison is sorta ridiculous.

Why doesn't the Rock count? Not black enough?

Well, someone had to to replace my beloved Tony Garea in that role. -
Tell-tale signs that a guy is past his prime

Wasn't Horner doing the whole, "Job guy who beats other job guys" deal in WWF at this time? Because for a really, really long time those guys would get in some offense against the "stars" on TV. (That clothesline from Horner totally looked like Barry gave him it as act of mercy, though) -

Oh, I'm with ya there 100%, man. I do think that Punk's "personal interpretation" is for real, and not just some gimmick. Just cause wrestling is full of drug users isn't an automatic indictment of a guy who isn't.

Opiate painkillers can get you high. Novocaine numbs an area of skin/ gums/ teeth. Both can make you drool, however.

Outside of the weirdness of Mason Ryan, nothing else stunk. Nobody noticed. -
That comes off as sad and grasping at straws. This set has a totally pro WCW feel.

I have no idea where you got that impression form, especially since most posters on this board are older than on many wrestling boards. He's talking about some other board, bro. Why JerryK wants people's opinions here about it is a tad weird. It's like comparing the awesome Ralph Macchio movie "Crossroads" with the Britney Spears movie "Crossroads" just because they're both movies and they have the same name. No offense.

I'd say it's two guys having fun.

Delirious doesn't From the latest Observer -
Ok, I know Dave didn't write this, and I do get what they were actually trying to say..but how funny is this latest poll at the WO site?

But on weed he'd only be going 5 miles an hour. So it's ok.

I took it as the millionaire wrestler no longer gets the perks of the job while people are struggling to keep afloat Upon thinking about it, it actually comes off as "Guy who is well known for loving rollercoasters has nothing nice to say about TNA, except for the fact he'll miss the rides." It's Foley being insulting without burying anyone clearly. And I'm sure he'll clarify and post about how much he admires the young talent, because of people saying "HE'Z ALL ABOUTZ THE FREE RIDEZ!" on twitter. He is overly sensitive at times. -

Hell, Sting even went heel for awhile, and not like that blip of a heel turn in WCW that stunk, but a full fledged heel run when they did the MEM. -
So my pal has a blog where he's talking about his experiences getting into "the biz", and it's pretty good. http://www.millershow.tv/blog/2011/6/13/th...winnemucca.html

I look at it as him saying the only downside to leaving TNA is not getting free RollerCoaster rides. What's so pathetic about that?
