  3. The problem is, these types of thoughts and threads don't come up when the product is good. When Daniel Bryan was being built up for Mania 30, nobody was talking about the problems with the company. So if I search back from Summerslam '13, through the fall, into the Rumble and up until the Raw where it was made clear Bryan was headlining Mania there won't be complaining? Bitching about the product is the path of least resistance. Why can't there be any balance between fandom with blinders on or non-stop negativity? No, because from SummerSlam '13 till February the show as pretty brutal with horrible treatment of Bryan. There was a period when they figured out Bryan should be the top guy that the show was really good and there was no, what is wrong with the WWE threads. If the show is good, then people will still complain but not about everything.

  7. Also, Living Dangerously 99 was one of the last Super Extreme Vault podcasts we did, going through ECW so you might want to check that out. Awesome, glad to have more faces in the GWE section. The more discussion the better, welcome aboard.

Yep, that is what I mean you have to be super positive all the time. Typing out, "it's nothing special" means absolutely nothing. Was he good or bad and why? If you don't think he's very good, explain why. If you think he's just ok, but not deserving of his list, explain why. I could go through every thread and say this guy is special, this guys is nothing special. What would that accomplish? Give us some insight, otherwise you just come off as dismissive. You can like and dislike anything you want I don't care. Just stating it without explanation just seems utterly pointless and attention grabbing.

Congratulations you may be the only one to think that, you win the prize. WTF ? Really ? As I said, I've been through shitloads of Mid-souh years ago, TV seasons and a bunch or arena stuff. That's what Duggan's work seemed to me, nothing special. That's all there's to it, really. Don't make everything a personal or ego issue. It's really not. I couldn't care less. I'm having "boring choice" Jumbo Tsuruta as my #1 wrestler ever, and other oh-so-original choices like Hansen, Terry Funk and Kawada in my top 5. I really couldn't care less if I'm in a large group or by myself. Especially at this point of my life, I mean... Then why make such a shitty post? You said your piece originally, saying he's nothing special. Yet you go ahead just to repeat the same thing. Either actually add something to the discussion or don't. What is the point of just adding these dismissive posts if you aren't doing it to troll or get attention?

  11. I think 2015 was worse, because they were stupid enough to do the same thing again.Big difference. They handled Reigns well enough in the WM build to where the fans were elated to see Reigns get destroyed by Brock. They screwed the pooch bad enough in 2014 to get the fans so riled up that a change in plans was 100% necessary. If we're strictly talking booking, I feel like something that actually killed a territory or promotion is going to win. 1/4/99 Nitro would be in the running but it was the lack of a proper follow up (Goldberg going house and doing what Sting couldn't by destroying the nWo for good) that makes it stand out as garbage. I'm going to pick XPW. Just all of it. Even if they did handle him better post Rumble (which I don't think they really did) that night was a horrible debacle.
  12. Another huge debacle was the handling of Punk after he won at Money in the Bank 2011. Coming back a week or two later and then being put into feuds with Triple H and Nash. This guy was the hottest act they had in maybe a decade and the blew it very very quickly.
  13. A bland and boring guy does not get over in those two separate gimmick that well. People can hate on Demolition all they want, but Eadie was far from bland and boring.

  15. Have fun.
  16. People are shitting on the six man tags? That is the best part of Raw. The matches are hot, and it keeps things fresh so they aren't doing the same match two hundred times.
  17. If they removed: camera there without explanation matches booked during the show pre-set gimmick matches (Hell in the Cell, TLC, etc... ) ppvs That alone would make me extremely happy.
  18. This is what I posted on May 5th. My top ten actually changed! 1. Stan Hansen (1) 2. Jerry Lawler (5) 3. Negro Casas (9) 4. Terry Funk (2) 5. Toshiaki Kawada (8) 6. Jumbo Tsuruta (3) 7. Ric Flair (4) 8. Rey Mysterio Jr. (6) 9. Jushin Liger (7) 10. Bret Hart (unranked) Randy Savage has dropped out of the top ten.

    WWE TV 10/26-11/1

Sadly, some people around here had predicted just that after Mania, even before the end of the Cena feud. Yeah, pretty pathetic. I don't know. It's like being surprised that Vince Sr had a really hot heel and then he lost his program with Bruno and the heel wasn't as hot anymore. How far can you take a monster heel with an undefeated gimmick? The whole point is for him to lose to the valiant face and move down the card. The issue is, Rusev had so much more legs and is young. If Rusev was a veteran coming in and losing to Bruno is different. It's also different than bringing in a young Hogan heel him running roughshaw then losing to Andre and leaving and someone who has to stick around. The monster run had a lot more legs to it and a lot more money to make. Then you could transition him to something else, but he certainly could be a main star for years. Now the chances of him being a main star are gone.

To fit with Taker and Kane? Not really. Although Enzo and Cass would be hilarious.

As morbid as it is, maybe a month away will do Rusev some good right now. Being on TV wasn't exactly doing him any favors lately. He was getting lost in the shuffle. It's amazing that he was the hottest thing in the company and now is a pre-show mid card comedy act. They could had done huge business keeping him a monster facing Brock Lesnar, but they wasted that away.
  23. So.. the Cubans are done, eh?
