    NXT talk

Seems to be mostly international girls that worked Shimmer.
  2. I went from The Wrestling Classic until No Holds Barred and got these number of shows they had matches on: Hogan: 11 Savage: 11 Hercules: 10 That is out of 11 ppvs. Hogan and Savage wrestled on every single ppv in the 1980s. Hercules missed on The Wrestling Classic, so that is why he is one down. Pretty irrelevant data given the difference in ppv schedules then versus now. Really relevant when someone claims Hercules was on more ppvs than Savage/Hogan.

  4. On the PWO-PTBN Roundtable of the 100 greatest matches on the Network, I think the concensus was that it was the perfect attitude era match, but we all had it around 4 stars or so. Nobody was at 5.
  5. I really need a barometer on what you think a five star match is. How many five star matches have their been this year to you?

  7. The World Title never used to be on TV in the WWF, just the IC and Tag Titles in the 80's. Only having title matches on the Network would make sense to me.
  8. Of course! Tim and I have a few shows planned out already.
  9. I think I broke every single one of those rules with the Pro-Wrestling Super Show.
  10. Josh Alexander is a guy that could had made it big in the business. He could had easily been in the Jack Swagger spot in the WWE or higher. Good for him getting out though.

    WrestleMania 32

I'm starting to feel that WrestleMania is ruining the rest of the year. There is a lot of stuff that happens that are literally just killing time. The only time the WWF is good is about January to April.
  12. My dad would tape these for me and I would watch them Sunday after church. Would almost make church bearable. 89 was my favourite year of the show. They had a great series between Demolition and Brainbusters, Hogan-Bossman in a cage and some other great stuff.
  13. Listening to this you can really tell that Kris is the only one who watches 3 hour Raws.

    Trish Stratus

Unaware? Most of us watched her entire career in real time.

The fact still remains her best match ever doesn't even hit 4 stars. How can that get someone onto a greatest wrestler ever list?

    Bobby Eaton

That's fair and I can see someone preferring Eaton. However Bret not being able to work a throwaway TV match doesn't matter to me. Bret's case is built on how he performs in big matches and I really think he is one of the best at those. From a logically, storytelling way. That always includes insanely great selling. I don't think too many people's matches have so much thought and purpose behind them with such great finishes. Eaton beats Bret in a lot of categories, it's just not the categories that matter to me.
  17. My ballot is fine, but will only get better as we get closer to the date. This is a snapshot, so it really could end any time and I'd make a list.

    Bobby Eaton

Everything is factored in, but the original statement was that Eaton was better at throwaway matches than Bret, so how is Bret better?
  19. I really liked him in 2000 calling Stampede. I still have no faith that there can be good WWE commentary with Vince around.
  20. His performances in matches is generally amazing. Being great in a match is not enough?
  21. Any examples? Sorry only just seen this. From memory there was a tone of him feeling as though he was held back at certain points in his career and that he could have been used better to garner a bigger Spanish audience. That's not bitter, that is an accurate statement by him.
  22. Toronto! LA Park & Pentagon Jr. vs Mike Bailey & Chris Hero (No Holds Barred) Kongo Kong vs Sami Callihan Zack Sabre Jr. vs Scotty O'Shea Cherry Bomb vs Cheerleader Melissa Dalton Castle vs TARIK Luke Gallows & Chase Owens vs Super Smash Brothers Brent Banks vs Timothy Thatcher Pepper Parks vs Drew Galloway Something like that. It would cost a bit of money, but not insane due to using a bunch of local talent. By the way that Hero/Bailey vs Park/Pentagon match is something I have been wanting to see for a long while now.

    TLC 2015

This exact same card with different booking and history could be really good. Some really good wrestlers in good pairings. However, the booking is shitty and the product is so stale, that I have no hopes for this at all.

    Bobby Eaton

I'm not going to judge people on how they work throwaway TV matches. Sure that is part of the package, but where is an Eaton's single's match that comes close to a top 10 Bret single's match?
