Wrestling doesn't sell. Nobody wants to watch a match without a story. At least that is what Vince said on Austin's podcast.

Here is what I am thinking for rules. Let's use this as a base and hammer out if there are any disagreements. Start Date: July 1, 1983 (July 1, 2015) We follow the days and months of our year, but subtract 32 from the years. So you post your card from July 4, 1983 on July 4, 2015 and so on. Holidays can be from this year, no need to look up what day Thanksgiving was in 1983 and use the one from 2015. Picking a promotion: 1) Everybody puts in a top 3 list and I try to make it fair, if there is any conflict there will be a discussion between the parties in conflict. 2) You get the owner, announcers and referees from that promotion. 3) You get to take one talent from that original roster onto yours. Whether a manager or wrestler. If you want a tag team, then you forfeit your first round pick. Picking your Talent: 1) There will be a snaked draft from the remaining available talent. 2) It will be done on the board. 3) Once a pick is made, the person on the clock has 10 hours to pick. if they miss their 10 hours then the next person can pick and the person who missed their pick can insert their pick ASAP (like the NFL draft, put 10 hours instead of 6 minutes) 4) If you pick a tag team you forfeit your next pick. 5) You can pick any available talent (ie everyone on the list, minus the freelancers). 6) Draft goes until all talent is picked or people drop out (Maybe a max roster of 40?) The Talent and Booking: 1) Booking a weekly TV show is a must and any other house shows or major events you want are bonus. 2) The NWA Champion starts as Harley Race and he will remain Champion until every player who is a part of the NWA votes to change him. 3) Every player apart of the NWA can work together to determine dates on the NWA Champion. 4) Japan tours will be the same as what actually happened, so if that wrestler is on your roster you just can't use them while they are on tour. 5) NWA members can work together for trades and sharing talent, if wanted. 6) Any other trades can happen, but must be agreed upon by both players. Freelancers: This one is where we are unsure, I propose that that each freelancer is drafted out each month and get 1 month contracts. 6-Month Updates: 1) At the end of 6 months any unactive promotions or rosters are up for grabs. 2) There will be a re-distribution draft where each player can protect 10 guys and everybody else is entered into a new draft. 3) Players can switch promotions at this point, if wanted. 4) Optional: Each roster has one wrestler taken off of it through a random drawing. Injuries: 1) Every month there is a random wrestler injured a random amount of time (ie promotions are numbered and a random number generator pick the promotion, then talent is numbered and a random number generator determines the wrestler, then a dice is rolled to determine how many months they are injured for). So, this is my proposal of rules. Other options are at the six month point there is a poll to determine the order of picks based on past performance. Also, if promotions not apart of the NWA wants to share champions they can. Titles, how shows are booked, etc... are all determined by player. This is my proposal, we can debate any of this and go from here.

Which makes Raw 3.5 to 4 hours long. Improve that pre-show and put it on the air to make Raw shorter, not longer.
-
Why can't there be a 30 minute pre-show like every other sport and maybe a 30 minute 24/7 segment hyping the main event of the next ppv? That would bring Raw down to 2 hours and be more manageable.

Roderick Strong vs Nakamura and Chaos vs Bullet Club from Roh in Toronto should be nominated.
-
Yeah, we have enough people to expand to NJ and AJ and that can decide tours well.
-
I saw for Pick in order and you have 10 hours to pick if it is your turn. Once you pick, the next person has 10 hours. If you miss the ten hours then you can pick asap, but others can go on. Just like the NFL draft.
-
It's not going to be completely by sign up. I am going to make it as fair as possible. If two people have the same first overall pick, it's not automatically determined by sing up I will bring it up here for discussion.

It's going to be a fun AJ Excite Series tonight!

I don't know. I listen to a podcast called dogma debate and there are Christians and Atheists having pretty in depth and great conversations about whether the theistic claim is true or if there is not enough evidence. There is an answer whether there is a god or not, but that doesn't stop debate.

There has been studies on whether art is good is objective. So, there is no real answer on whether art is in the eye of the beholder or if certain art is inheritable good. I tend to think that a lot of art is either good or bad and which way you see it depends on your knowledge, level of study and maybe a little culture. Are all wrestling styles created equally? The jury is out.

And Sid was jacked, had a cool look and could talk. LA Park might have been higher up on the card than he was, but anything above going for the US title is fantasy land. I can see something like Him vs. Luger on a PPV underneath a Hogan match and a Goldberg match, but that's his ceiling. Remember in 99/2000 you had DDP, Jarrett and Booker T on top. Could LA Park not work better than or on the same level of them or are we restricted to 98. Looking at 98 nobody should be in the main event unless they are facing Goldberg.
-
People still remember La Parka today, even though he was never featured. He turned into a great brawler in a main event style and he was oozing with charisma. The skeleton costume ruled and it's not like Hogan's spray paint beard was more realistic. Rey and Eddie because huge draws, so I don't think it has to be with hispanic. Not cutting promos was a problem in WCW? There two biggest draws in that period was Sting (who didn't talk during that time) and Goldberg, who uttered one phrase.
-
I think LA Park would had been a face, so no. However if Matt wants to argue that he can.
-
What changed from 98 to 2006 when Rey was put on top?
-
My answer! La Parka could had been a main eventer, easily. Watch that crazy brawl with Dr. Wagner Jr. and tell me he couldn't had main evented any promotion. His charisma was off the page. His ability was off the page. He got really over for someone who only worked openers. La Parka was a MAJOR missed opportunity. Also, Parv, saying a high flyer shows you don't know La Parka. Other evidence is Rey Jr. being a draw in the WWE. Parka had more charisma and his style fit better into main events (he is not better than Rey).

Top 3 Choices 1. International Wrestling (Montreal) 2. Maple Leaf Wrestling 3. Championship Wrestling from Florida

Alright, everybody can put there top 3's here. I will use that list and based on the sign up determine who gets what. If there is an unfair situation, I will bring it back up here to figure it out.

Of course man!
