  1. Kevin Ride what did you think of the Rush vs. Virus trios match, I didn't see you comment on that one?
  2. I can understand it is not your cup of tea, but how does that translate to a bad decision? Lucha is really not that different than any other wrestling. There is some different rules with tagging and how a fall ends in trios, but outside of that it's wrestling. It can be mat work and dives or bloody brawling, depending on the situation. What is it that you don't like about it? You said you don't know why, but try watching a match and point out what you don't like. I would love to hear it and maybe lucha is something you will never like or maybe it is something you will grow to love. Watch some, write some thoughts and let's see what it will be.
  3. Shit. I didn't see that nominated on wko yet. I added it, it must be awesome.
  4. It's my match of the year so far.
  5. Previous Winners: Free TV Match of the Week, Week 1: January 1 to 4: Negro Casas vs. Titan (CMLL on Terra, 1/3) Free TV Match of the Week, Week 2: January 5 to 11: Real Americans vs. Rhodes Brothers (WWE Raw, 1/6) Free TV Match of the Week, Week 3: January 12 to 18: Negro Casas & Puma & Tiger vs. Black Panther & Blue Panther & Cachorro (CMLL on CadenTres, 1/18) The poll will close as early on Friday that I am awake. Here are your links: Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode (Cage Match, TNA Impact, 1/25) The rest I had difficulty with, but I am sure you can find them with some looking around. EDIT: Winner: Goldust & Cody Rhodes & Big E Langston vs. The Shield (WWE Raw, 1/20)
  6. In a come from behind 7-5 victory, the Negro Casas & Puma & Tiger vs. Black Panther & Blue Panther & Cachorro (CMLL on CadenTres, 1/18) is the match of the week. Thanks for the discussion this week. I am glad to see people are watching the matches.
  7. That would be my number two as well.
  8. Ok there is a tie and I am going to close this in an hour or two, somebody break it.
  9. Everybody should be aware that I will be closing this poll early Friday, so get your votes in tonight.

So, two months ago they were going on about having such a great tag division and it was awesome. Now they are breaking up The Shield, The Rhodes Brothers, The Prime Time Players and The Real Americans and The New Age Outlaws are the champions. What the heck happened?
  11. Awesome! I agree with your point, but that comparison. Awesome!
  12. The main factor that makes indies guys look better in the WWE is the road agents. Working hundreds of matches is one thing, working hundreds of matches with Arn Anderson, Barry Windham and Ricky Steamboat giving you notes after each match and having them help you with coming up with the matches is a completely different thing altogether. You kind of have to improve in the current environment for no other reason than the quality of the road agents. I can't imagine Gabe is giving as good advice as The Enforcer.
  13. Yes, yes you do!
  14. I am going to have to go with the TCW match this week. Although, I enjoyed everything else. Kinkaid and Americos was the perfect example of an indie match. It was also a really well told story and had lots of fun spots. That DDT move onto the steps on the apron was insane, followed by a swanton to the floor was one of the craziest sequences I've seen in a while. What I really liked about it was that, yes, it is an indie match and they will be kicking out of a punch of stuff. However they were kicking out of airplane spins and moves that could finish, but weren't death. This wasn't a match where they were kicking out of top rope brainbusters and other sillyness. I think a lot of indie guys could learn a lot from this match. Awesome stuff and it has my vote. I really need to track down more with these two guys too.
  15. Ok, I loved this show and it was way more enjoyable than the Meltzer-Alvarez post Rumble show. Good job and I was wondering when P2BN would start doing post ppv shows.

The problem with that is any match that has to follow Bryan not winning the title is not going to have good reactions. If you thought the Rumble was bad, WrestleMania is the most hardcore of WWE fans.

At this point you might as well change the card. You can't have a title match at Mania without Bryan or the crowd will completely shit on it. Might as well give him the title at EC and defend it against Batista at Mania. What does that leave? WWE Title: Bryan vs. Batista Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt CM Punk vs. Triple H so, Sheamus and Orton lose their opponents, but that is ok.

I heard a suggestion somewhere that Rollins wins the IC Title and at Mania they do a 3-Way with the Shield to unify the US-IC Titles. I really like that idea a lot.

I think you do Elimination Chamber with Orton, Brock, Cena, Bryan, Sheamus and Punk and go from there. Taker can cost Brock. Triple H makes Punk go in first. Then you can decide what to do from there.
  21. Has the WWE fans ever shit over a direction going into Mania more than this?
  22. It beats Benoit-Angle, I know that!
  23. "This is awful" is my new favourite chant ever!
  24. I kind of hate concussion angles and matches built around concussions.
  25. I can't think of a less appealing WrestleMania main event than Batista-Orton. Based on the proposed card, that will be lucky to make it to the 9:30 portion of the show Thanks, I can't think of anything less appealing than the WWE Title match being between Orton-Batista and going on in the middle of the show.
