  1. I can't think of a less appealing WrestleMania main event than Batista-Orton.
  2. I don't know if I can make it through this ppv. I know I was ready to be disappointed, but in the pre-show? Come on!
  3. I am watching the preshow and I am confused. I haven't watched in a few weeks, but I thought The Outlaws turned heel on Punk? Why are they doing all the babyface stuff tonight?
  4. I can't watch 2004 because it forces me to cheer on a child murderer for over an hour. 1995 is under rated it's a fun solid match with a quick pace, good Bulldog and Michaels story and it has Dick Murdoch.
  5. I will try, but the poll closes essentially when I wake up on that Friday.
  6. So, hopefully we can get some more voters this week and a little more discussion. There was less matches nominated this week, so it should be easier for everyone to watch everything. Here are the links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbM3hlS1HCo John Cena vs. Damien Sandow (WWE Raw, 1/13) I can't find a link for the NXT match, sorry. POLL CLOSED
  7. Since I will never get a response to this anywhere else, I want to pose a question. I did a top 25 matches in Royal Rumble history piece for Place to be Nation and on it I listed the minis match from 1998 (#22) and I did not list the Benoit-Angle match from 2003. What I want to know is how anybody can think that the Benoit-Angle match is better. They are both spotfests that lack stories that are just put together to pop the crowd. However in the minis match the high spots are all these cool high flying dives and springboards, while the Benoit-Angle match is filled with German suplexes and popping up after dangerous moves. A match with no real story, a spotfest, makes a let more sense to me with midgets wearing masks then it does in a World Title match. To me, the minis match made more sense in that context and had better spots and kind of flowed better. So, why the love for Benoit-Angle and the hate for the minis match?
  8. I will post this question there, hopefully somebody has seen the minis match since 1998.

  10. Real Americans vs. Rhodes Brothers (WWE Raw, 1/6) is the winner this week.
  11. Normally I would had hated that submission train, but for some reason I really dug it in this match. Maybe it felt a little more organic and less showy, I am not sure.
  12. Meltzer didn't rate that awesome tag match very high, which is criminal.
  13. Since 1989 I have given Cena vs. Lesnar from Extreme Rules, Punk vs. Cena from MITB and the two Bret-Austin matches 5 stars. There is probably more, but I am slowly re-watching things.
  14. The problem with TNA major shows is that nobody sees them, so nobody is going to vote for them. This is why I don't vote in the worst of category and why I find it idiotic. If something is shit I am not watching it, so how do I know what is the worst. Plus worst match and wrestler and that kind of stuff is impossible, I am sure there are some shows in some country I can't pronounce that is the worst shit ever, but nobody knows about it.
  15. I liked the match a lot. The finish where Vordell kept going for the figure-four instead of trying a roll up with so little time left kind of bugged me though. Although, that is the only negative I can think of for that match.
  16. I have finally watched everything and I am really torn between the Iron Man match and the Blue Panther & Delta tag match. Although I enjoyed all of these. I am going to go with the tag, just because Okumura really stood out to me as something special in that one.
  17. Rock and X-Pac was pretty good!
  18. I haven't watched it lately, but the Triple H vs. Michaels hell in a cell is the most boring piece of shit ever!
  19. This is what I get for copying a Dylan link. Will fix tonight.
  20. Who voted for other and what did they vote for?
  21. Last week was really close. This week I included some links. 2014 Pequeno Reyes del Aire (CMLL on Terra, 1/5) Electrico y Ultimo Dragoncito vs. Demus 3:16 y Pierrothito (CMLL on Terra, 1/10) Real Americans vs. Rhodes Brothers (WWE Raw, 1/6) is the winner this week.
  22. The first week ends with a very close vote. Negro Casas vs. Titan had 9 votes, while The Rhodes Brothers vs. The Wyatts had 8.
  23. I know, it's television contracts. We were late with netflix too. One of the problems is that NXT airs here, exclusively on The Score, so having it on the network is an issue.
  24. I am still grumpy, waiting till 2015 to go to Canada with this is a mistake. Canada is a huge WWE market, I go to movie theaters quite often for ppvs and they are always filled.
  25. Oh shit, outside of the Cactus match at the Rumble what is there? I know his 2000 stuff wiht The Rock was praised at the time, but I don't think it's going to hold up too well. He did have a good match with Austin with the 2/3 Falls? Does that hold up?
