Which of the McMahons is the best performer?
That Poor Bastard replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in WWE
The elder statesman Vince from 2003-2007 is probably one of my favorite characters in the WWE ever...so he wins for that alone. This doesn't even include everything he did as a performer before that. Hell, he made a lot of those terrible DX rebirth skits less terrible. -

Your Wrestling Pet Peeves/Utter Hatreds

The routine of somebody getting tossed outside before a commercial break, and when they return the person who got tossed outside usually has his opponent in a chinlock, And the Big Show is really not that bad. He just doesn't need to really be in feuds anymore. He needs to be the heel Mark Henry. Guy with a little credibility who does jobs to uppercard babyfaces on most occasions. Kane, on the other hand, hasn't done anything worthwhile in years besides tombstoning The Bunny off of our TV screens. I also don't like the fact that heels don't cheat to win that much anymore. I guess since Eddie made it a part of his babyface gimmick to cheat, nobody has done it the way it used to be done. Seth Rollins has most of the slimy heel stuff down as a character...now he needs to wrestle like one. -

Cagematch says he used A-Train. Other sites say he also went by Black Thunder. -
He was in the video too. They must finally be building Luke for a singles push

I was going to post this one as well. I also have to give a nod to last year's summerslam. -
2000 - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
That Poor Bastard replied to JaymeFuture's topic in Pro Wrestling
The Good - getting to see William Regal take on a young Bryan Danielson live here in Jonesboro when Bryan was in developmental. The Bad - WWE closing down the Memphis part of developmental, which effectively ended decent wrestling coming to my area to this day. The Ugly - WCW. The entirity of it. So many wrestlecrap moments. My heart is still a little broken. -
They've always been the same person in WWE canon. When Zeb was brought in they always mentioned how he used to manage JBL in his early years.

Daniel bryan has been my favorite hot tag guy in the past few years. Dustin has always been an excellent fip, but i love his hot tags just as much.

Anytime Vince McMahon bladed always turned out pretty gory. I also have to mention hhh after the cage match with flair. He looked like warmed over crap.

"_______ should have been a top guy"

Sean had pretty much everybody on every pro wres message board on his bandwagon in 2000. I never could figure out why. He was like the fourth or fifth best guy in the NBT. Maybe his look got him over with the IWC, which is pretty funny to me. -

You guys are no selling Charles Robinson. I think he has been the best ref working since Brian passed on. I know that when I watch a match that he is reffing I won't notice him very much, but recent gifs have shown him to be awesome at referee impact selling. I didnt even know he reffed these matches until I saw these. -
II love a lot of the older pro wrestling I have seen. Stuff from the 80's and 90's that I had never seen never fails to find ways to entertain me. Especially stuff like 90-early 92 WCW or ECW's heyday. (I have only seen the stuff put on the WWE ECW dvd releases until recently.) I wish I had more access to the Memphis i missed in the 80's, and the Memphis I saw in the 90's. However, I think I will go with post 96. You never know what is going to happen in pro wrestling, and I dont want to miss out on the next great thing to happen. Also, I know there is a lot of stuff I have never seen from 97-now that I could watch that might be decent. I do have to say that I prefer the aesthetics of wrestling before the 90's boom period.

I think Brock v Daniel Bryan could be a dream match if sold as such, and the promos by Heyman alone would make it so.
-
The cage match against hhh was damn near epic and the best match either man had put on in a loooong time. watch it sometime dudes.

Dusty v Barry from the Clash. If you've seen it...you know what I am talking about. Most of the match is quite fun, but the neverending claw hold really bores the piss out of me. I really have no idea how it made the Clash comp the WWE released a few years back.

Man Mountain Rock blasting Johnny B Badd in the face with the badd blaster thing. I was a kid, and a dude getting hit in the face with an exploding thing was a new experience to me. (I hadn't seen any Memphis fireballs at that point) -
I remember reading in one of the wOw Apter mags that Nash was getting divorced from his wife back in the day. What about Rick Martel? He retired right after his awesome run in WCW and never looked back as far as I know.

Slick Johnson is hands down the worst referee I've ever seen.

Great promo, terrible announcer

The best thing about Booker T on commentary was that you could play a drinking game to how many times he says AWWWWW MAH GOODNESS during any given show. You would be drunk and puking in thirty minutes flat. I really enjoyed Raven commentating for Heat, and Punk on RAW during his short run. But my personal favorite has to be JBL. Cole really gets good when he is working alongside JBL..and JBL is better than any color guy they have had since the days of Ventura/Heenan.
