  1. Fun Savage stuff, but bored by this already and can't wait for it to be over.
  2. I think Credible should have waiting until the 10th bell or at least the 9th. Gave this away too early with the crowd already shitting on him before even getting to the punchline. Thought Credible would bleed when he came out in spotless white tee. It was a nice touch to have Jason be disgusted by it though.
  3. This feud doesn't get real hot until late int he year RE: Douglas/Taz. This promo goes way too long and would have been better with half the time.
  4. I knew Austin was big in 1998, but good god it really shows here in these highlighted segments. Great final sell for PPV. Did they know Michaels was out at this point?
  5. Loved the NAO from day one. After officially becoming DX I felt it got watered down, but loved seeing the evolution of them from The real Jesse James and Rockabilly, both of whom I cared zero about, to breakout stars.
  6. Agree with everything already said. Great package. Austin on fire, Tyson, Michaels and Vince pay it perfect as well. Tyson telling Austin to try loving somebody was amazing.
  7. Rock is finally putting the pieces together with the character and by WrestleMania's interview with Flowers, he's a solidified superstar.
  8. Austin still on fire and untouchable on the mic this year thus far. Great segment as well.
  9. Blassie clips were cool, Sunny cannot sing nor act. Guess that explains things.
  10. Let's mention Syxx to piss off people and show how much we can get away with. Let's chat like we're talking in the back and have everything but the survey go over everyone's head. Pac shows up in WWF less than 5 weeks later.
  11. Sooo over the NWO and it is only February. No interest at all in Savage v. Hogan.
  12. Exactly what I was looking for. Even if it isn't the debut, it's at least a clear audio version which I need for a project I'm working on. Thanks!
  13. Anybody have an idea as to when Heyman/Brock debuted this phrase? Specifically, Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat. None of the variations such as eat, sleep, suplex ... or eat, sleep, conquer the streak, eat sleep john cena repeat
  14. I've always enjoyed this match in a hateful glee kind of way. Goldberg was completely lost and his arm bar and knee bar both looked hideous. Regal is awesome even when he isn't being awesome.
  15. Hogan talking. Bischoff talking. Savage talking.
  16. Agree with all the thoughts here. Would love to see the match in full. After seeing the complete version I'll give more thoughts.
  17. This was like Oprah, but instead of telling everyone they get a car, everyone is some type of mark. I loved Douglas at this time and thought all the semi-shoot stuff was something only smart marks like me got. Looking back, I was stupid.
  18. Since I didn't have to watch the whole match, I was fine with the swerve/payoff at the end. Nobody cared about Bigelow as a face so why not put him back as the third wheel in a three man group.
  19. I loved this. I thought it was much better than the Tanaka match. At first, I thought it was going to be completely one sided as the arm work did go a little to long before Tajiri fought back at all, but once he made his comebacks this was tremendous. February MOTY so far.
  20. I was so bored by Tanaka here. He was like the living embodiment of Jericho's 1,001 holds list. 1.) Arm bar 2.) Arm bar 3.) Knee bar 4.) Arm bar.... He has a match next year against Taka Michinoku that I remember being great and he does get better, but this was more of an exhibition.
  21. ....aaand the weak payoff to the earlier show killing angle. Before the hardcore legends run-in, this was a good build towards No Way Out/WrestleMania 14
  22. I think the point of Mero singing "Beautiful People" over and over again is to let the people know Goldust was supposed to be Marilyn Manson as his get up wasn't far removed from his normal stuff at this point.
  23. I liked this as a progression of the show long angle since, by this point, it was past repair.
  24. Even though all four people involved were some of my favorites at the time, I HATED this. It took almost the entire first hour of Raw and just dragged and I didn't buy them being hurt throwing about six feet onto tables while surrounded by pads and packing peanuts. This is especially true after they showed clips of them killing each other in Japan death matches.
