I agree that Ambrose offense really does set him apart from Edge. He does look dangerous and vicious in his brawling. Edge followed up his cartoon selling by delivering spears that I would allow my 83 year old grandmother to take. I did like the match it just didn't reach MOTYC level for me and I also really want to cheer for Ambrose I just again agree with Matt that a 15% reduction in some of the mannerisms would be ideal. I don't recall him having that problem on the indy scene so maybe it something that can be adjusted.

Kind of sad to see you say Lawler's stock is going down slightly for you Loss. I know his schtick matches do more for me than you but I haven't had a problem with his promo ability so far and since Flair has diminished some in April/May he would probably be my overall MVP for the year so far. -
I'm kind of with you NintendoLogic especially in regards to Ambrose in the match. I was sort of shocked to see some of the praise heaped on him since I thought some of his selling and facials were Edge overreacting bad at times.

Honestly, I thought this was the best Flair segment since his 2008 retirement speech and I enjoyed it a lot. It also got my grandfather calling me on the phone to see if I was watching so that counts for something.

Agree with most of the comments here. Good match although nothing extraordinary and it really wasn't able to match the hot opening. I also thought Perro Aguayo was much better than Hamada here.

Good heavyweight battle style match that seemed to be building to a bigger feud and did feel like a real nice win for Hash. Despite all my problems with the flaws in Muto/Choshu I had these two New Japan matches about on the same level.

My favorite part besides the wife appearance was the fact they said Lawler makes around 300,000 a year which I wonder how legit that was. Another weird feature up there with Connie Chung for me.

Good Atlas promo but he really isn't working with much in this promotion with who he is calling out.

Really great comparison seeing this right after the USWA stuff with how not to do a race angle. The JYD brawl in the ring was good and hot but this does look like a severe step back from what WCW had been building to throughout the year.

Really weird for this to air after the PPV since the week before we saw Luger all fired up talking about how the PPV was only hours away and here he looks like he is on his death bed.

Pretty quick segment teasing a surprise for the Horseman. Interesting to see how Ole does as a booker.

I think this may actually trump the segment from the week before in my mind. This is an angle where you are really glued to your tv and want to catch every detail of what each person says because of the perfection each character is playing.

At least Warrior acknowledges Rude here and has some words for him even though it resolved into him looking at his hands and talking about the immortals again.

Yeah this was the first one where I didn't see much redeeming factor to what was said.

Well I can't be partial to this because this is my first wrestling memory as a near 4 year old boy. In fact this is one of my first memories in life period. I still thought the angle looked good and Hogan selled it well with nice touches like Vince being out there added.

Freaking awesome match where you can feel the hate and the tide turning. Misawa is wearing green, Kobashi is wearing orange and finally All Japan feels fresh and relevant again. Everything from the Jumbo elbows to everyone on the apron, to the pull apart to him and Misawa, to work on Kobashi's knee, to Misawa getting a clean win really propelled this feud. This also is my first glimpse at Taue at this time and he seemed more polished than I would have imagined. Definitely top 5 for the year for me right now.

I could not believe how many figures and masks they have. This was a real cool snapshot into the culture at the time.

Short match but intense while it lasted and it looked like the beginning of a another wedge into the feud with Percy getting involved. Really glad USWA TX has three strong angles going on right now.

Tessa looked really good here and I loved the finish with her being fed up, getting a kiss from Dundee, and running off with him.

Good match with teasing of the barbed wire when it was appropriate. Austin's power moves and timing looked better here than in previous matches.
