After taking a bit of hiatus from the show due to work restricting streaming and downloading, I have returned to the Vintage Vault listens with a vengeance at the gym.

I may be contrarian but this was one of my favorite matches so far on the set. Part of that may be that we have only seen one joshi match so far but the pace worked at along with an interesting story being developed in each fall really drew me in even at 2:00 in the morning. I also had no experience with Minami and Nishiwaki and thought they were both great here so this match some new discovery aspect to it as well. Probably will need to rewatch to see if it holds up but right now this is in my top 10 for the year. -
I thought this was a step back in this angle from what we have seen so far as Austin does look pretty bad in the match and the hatred was not conveyed like I had hoped. Good to know there is still lots to come though.

Good snapshot promo of the Horseman but what the hell was Sid wearing a tux for. He looked like a limo driver for the group.

Agree that Luger looks great here and delivers a fired up babyface promo leading into the big Capital Combat sell.

Really didn't like the skit all that much but Valiants vowing revenge promo and him reaching out to the emotional side of the fans was very well done.

I also wonder if the ether is actually pungent. These were good clips and we have not seen as much MSC footage as in later years on Memphis so far. They again work at establishing the new rules.

Rude gets a new haricut and delivers a very good serious promo to keep me invested in these segments.

Good Dusty promo but I have to side with Jesse that it was a cheap shot by Sapphire. Vince saying that the only people that Love Brother Love is the people working the lunch counter got a big lol out of me also.

Really fun to watch as the more memorable interaction of wrestling and family feud was the WWF version. I thought Sting and Scott Steiner did the best in fast money and Steiner looked really interesting even asking Combs on the final day what answer would have won the money for them.

Agree that Flair/Woman really felt like a singular unit here and it sad that there time together is coming to a close.

Glad that the surprise was actually Sid instead of the Scorpion as I originally feared. I think Sid fits well as the bodyguard type in the group and he looks really awesome here. Really one of the more menacing horseman lineups overall.

Agree that this is really awesome stuff and the match will be rated in the Tupelo Concession Stand variety and will rank high on my top 100 at year end. Real intense hatred and great punches by Kerry. Borne really acts unstable and out of control in this match to. The visual of them fighting on the car with lightning flashing and thunder rumbling should be one of the more memorable visuals of 1990's wrestling.

Agree more with Peter that this was not my favorite match of the Texas stuff but it was really good. Billy Joe plays a great babyface and I love everyone from the crowd to the announcers taking shots at Gossett. I still want to see DWB in a match though where his performance blows me away.

Wonderful match with all 6 guys mixing it up and varying their styles. Each fall told its own story and had many interesting facets to it. The sequences between Atlantis and Dandy were especially great and Atlantis has been one of my breakout stars of the set because he was a worker I always really liked and thought was very good but he has been great in what we have seen so far. Cruz and Satanico mixing it up feels like an old man bar fight.

Really agree that 4 months in WCW is unquestionably the best in ring promotion really only rivaled to me by the UWF stuff we have seen. Rally the WCW in ring and Memphis angles have carried the yearbook for me so far.

Texas is really firing on all cylinders right now. I like that they destroyed Marc's chair since it is his last show.

Dundee kissing Tessa got a pop out of me as well as Tatum stooging around being handcuffed. Really liking this feud so far.

One of the lesser promos from jerry this year but still good. Seems weird to me that he is calling out Kerry since Kerry seems firmly in the feud with Borne.

Yeah I liked Kerry coming out and causing havoc wanting a piece of Borne and the episodic nature of this episode really feels like Memphis.

Never cared too much for Borne even in some of his other pimped Doink stuff but he is really great here and he shows some viciousness in turning completely heel and beating up Chris Von Erich.

Really surprised at the amount of local promotions running in Texas at this time.

Marc is able to go out in classy fashion and this was a really nice segment and tribute to him. Even Kerry is more coherent than he has been throughout the rest of the year.
