Except t's not about a rasslin' angle. It's about making the WWE simps going "Papa Trip gives us the match we want !" while forgetting about his appalling response at the press conference when confronted with actually meaningful real life issues including rape and sex-trafficking by his father-in-law.

Triple H babyfacing himself by being the one giving back Cody vs Roman at Mania to the people, after he disgraced himself at the press conference, while Nick Aldis is supposed to be the storyline authority figure, is the most Triple H thing ever. Embarrassing.

AEW TV (02/07 - 02/10) Here she come now saying Mone Mone
El-P replied to The Thread Killer's topic in AEW
The CMLL crew challenged the BCC to come to Arena Mexico. This is happening. Danielson sure has an amazing last year (as a full timer). Oh, he's also working ZSJ again, this time in Japan, tomorrow. -
This. Above. All of this. Triple H being involved on the worked scene after "I did not read the lawsuit" is fucking pathetic.

Bret Hart denounces Vince McMahon. He's really the first one of the major stars who worked closely with him to do so. Good for him. Also : https://www.vice.com/en/article/epv78z/ashley-massaro-wwe-vince-mcmahon-sexual-divas She had accused Vince on preying on Divas, including herself after the Playboy shots. After she refused Vince's advances, he personally wrote some of her promos to make her look bad, to the point even Micheal Hayes reacted with "You're not saying this ! Who the fuck wrote this ?" when he saw some of the scripts. Kevin Dunn was apparently one of the person on that meeting where she was told not to talk about being raped (aka, "a bad experience"), because that could damage WWE's relationship with the US military.

The timing of Stephy's departure ad comeback and departure again are even more fishy. What did she know ? The fact she led that "Thank you Vince" when he "retired" the first time remains one of the most appalling thing ever. Although they have done a really good job of getting the attention away from it with the Cody/Rock debacle/angle, this ain't going anywhere. Another bombshell dropping later this year around Mania time would not surprise me. People acting like everything is fine now because Vince is gone are in denial.

So apparently D'Amore approached Anthem to buy TNA. And there goes nothing. It's so ironic that TNA was basically rebuilt under the IMPACT Wrestling name, and that's when the company turned around in term of perception and as an actual product (in term of quality, not business/awareness and all that good shit that have nothing to do with actual quality). And as soon as they went back to the TNA brand name, it's a mess again. It's really too bad for all the talent for were all hyped up and optimistic, and of course D'Amore himself. Corporates are useless people.
-
Corporate bullshit trite. Per Meltzer, D'Amore was all in on rebuilding TNA and going harder on the market, and Anthem went like "yeah, no" and are just happy with filling their TV time as with TNA/IMPACT as it is. It's completely pathetic. The company is also build around a bunch of guys who are super loyal to D'Amore (Alexander, Young, Kazarian, Moose, Edwards). This is a really dumb move on Anthem's part. Old double J is gonna have a field day with this, considering what he had to say about Anthem before. Come on Coach TK. D'Amore is your guy.

Dynamite was the show I badly needed. -
Here we go. The name Ashley Massaro pops up. WWE knew about the rape claim, which they had denied in the past. Of course, Lauritainis' lawyer denies the fact he helped cover it. Anyway. *vomit* Burn the place down to the ground.

I sure hope it's only this. In which case, sucks for TNA, because he's the guy that has been responsible for every really good TNA periods basically, and the reconstruction of the last 4/5 years would not have happened without him. Gotta say this though. He absolutely loved to put himself in the limelight (and he is a good performer anyway) and it was more and more evident lately. BUT. After a successful rebrand, getting rid if the guy who very much was the face of that rebrand (and maybe that was the issue with Anthem) and a big reason why IMPACT has been so positive these last few years is probably gonna damage the locker room morale pretty big, as it makes the entire move like it's broken already. Now. If there's nothing wrong about D'Amore. Coach TK. GET HIM IN AEW YESTERDAY ! HE'S THE GUY YOU NEED !

I sure hope Dax is ready for that big single stint. He can finally be Bret Hart.

Sadly It has nothing to do with just wrestling fans. That stuff in happening in every field when you're a public figure of any kind. Online harassement can happen to anyone, under any circumstance, and of course it's always way worse for women. It is happening with the current season of Star Academy in France, a reality-TV/singer contest show that just came back on TV after I don't even remember how long. It never happened back in the early 00's, because it could not. Now it's out of control. Social medias have fucked up the place like nobody's business, they made everything worse. Not to say wrestling fans aren't a special case of idiotic dipshit at times.

And now news of Giulia postponing her WWE debut to help Rossy jumpstart his new promotion. Loyalty is her middle name.

Yeah, seems like every ten year is the "Here's your organic champ getting on top, happy now ?", before they get back the chosen one : Diesel, Batista, Roma uuh Seth Rollins actually (talk about another case of backpedalling damage control). But anywoo, Cody Rhodes doesn't exactly fit the mold either, because the company has been 100% behind making him the top babyface since the day he return, it did not just happened organically from nowhere. Which never was the case for Bret (totally incidental in a period where he got the belt back every time the plans just did not work), Benoit (transitional champ for Orton) or Danielson (how about feuding with Kane and running from him as he's assaulting your girlfriend ? Yeah, don't worry, we totally behind you).
-
So they are now pretending it was done in purpose to get Cody even more over. How can you humanly be more full of shit than this (apart from being a member of Macron's government) ?
-
This guy has started more promotions than Jeff Jarrett.

IF, and that's a big-ass IF, they clean the fuck of the entire company by that point, that would not be the worst idea, at the very least to make a clear cut move that goes beyond the backstage and office stuff. If it's too soon, they could very well do it for the Netflix debut. -
And now news of several workers expressing worries or intentions to leave. If that turns into another mass exodus like it happened in the late 90's for Zenjo and AJPW, that's quite the shake-up in the landscape. Maybe Rossy still owns those ARSION trademarks...

Thanks for the concern, man. I'm doing fine. My pro-wrestling fandom though ? Not doing that great. And it's not even a testament to what I think about the quality of it. There's plenty of great wrestling out there. But... Yeah. Very angry indeed.

Jeez, I wasn't even aware of that. (this is a nervous laugh, ok ?) I'm sure they are. Agree about Levesque. And it came off really bad.
