as for HHH he was pretty damn over as a babyface in spring/summer 0f 98. Watch the ending of the ladder match at SS 98. The he got hurt and when they brought him back he was less over and then the heel turn to the corporation killed his heat for good until the fall of 99

I was at that Raw! on the new Clique DVD they acted like DX was the hottest thing in the promotion in 97 and 98. In fact those words were directly said They were over but come on...Steve Austin
-
watching the kliq DVD full of Scott Hall matches obviously and yeah there really is nothing special about the guy in the ring. And watching all those matches and this may seem far fetched but I think at their peak (s) Kevin Nash was a better worker. 93-95 Nash at least was better than 93-95 Hall

I was wondering the last couple weeks if Vince had fallen out of love with Lana and bam it's being reported that her push is being scaled back now. Eva Marie is the new interest and is set to return and get a big push in the Divas Revolution storyline
-
And Heyman's promo was pretty great with Brock towering over him standing on the steps. They did a dark segment where Hunter and Steph signed a make a wish kid to a contract. Pretty awesome to do that live in the ring
-
That was actually a pretty damn good Raw. The near falls really worked for the Neville/Rollins match. They actually got the crowd with them. The women's matches still aren't getting a lot of heat though. Hopefully that changes when they get into smarkier towns. No Authority tonight! And count the number of Rousey name drops! Shameless!

The biggest heel in the WWE is the company itself. I guess it's not about drawing heel heat anymore but trolling your fan base because you dont agree with them or because they like the "wrong" wrestlers. This is maybe the biggest disconnect between a company and its fans in history. I remember Loss saying that the underlying theme of every WWE TV show is that Hunter and Steph are trying to make the worst show possible for the fans and John Cena and his buddies are trying to save us from that
-
interesting that I was just listening to Big Show on Jericho's podcast and the issue of "wrestlers aren't allowed to look into the camera" was brought up. Both agreed with Vince's policy and said that WCW guys constantly looking into the camera and hamming it up made the company seem low rent. I'm inclined to agree with them
-
it's purely cosmetic and the main problems would still exist but dropping the Authority angle and moving the show to 2 hours would do wonders for Raw
-
holy crap I had forgotten Sheamus injured Christian in the buildup to WM 30. It looked like they were going to be programmed with one another after plans were scratched after the Bryan backlash. That's what happened, right?

Ronda wins in .34. Vince, Steph and Hunter have to salivating at this point
-
Notice how every wrestler criticizing Dana is from TNA or non WWE. WWE doesn't want anyone or anything upsetting Dana right now. Bunch of wrestlers, including Steph and Hunter, were showing support for Ronda on twitter. What a bunch of ass kissers! Well Rollins called him out so forget that shit. Still I bet he gets heat for that. Almost all the critics were non wwe though

Wow this one is really getting to me. He's pretty much the reason I became a fan. Wow is this awful
-
Report is it was a heart attack
-
Just terrible news. One of my favorite wrestlers ever and someone who hooked me in as a fan. RIP This is tough
-
I actually think there is a chance that Rollins is going to hold the title all the way to Mania. And I also think Cesaro is going to be the placeholder fall contender the next few months. Of course always the chance they just have Cena go over clean
-
Rollins was on the Daily Show last night again. Presented Stewart with a WWE belt. Actually he was pretty funny
-
I swear that one of the first few thoughts in my mind (despite that he is a scumbag prick) when hearing about this is that Vince McMahon would love this guy
-
he was also cheered like crazy during the opening promo with Steph pointing that out in her promo. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread that had to be a subtle jab at smart fans
-
PWI is reporting that Sting is no longer scheduled to work Summerslam and they are probably going to just do a straight Reigns/Ambrose v Wyatt/Harper tag match
-
Cena's nose was nasty looking. Now him and Hunter have the same face
-
Steph mentioning the positive response for Cena had to have been a subtle jab at the smart fans
-
So Stephanie was a heel this week after 2 straight weeks acting like a babyface. Hunter and Steph turning face at least would have been fresh but right back to status quo

2014 Royal Rumble is the worst creative decision in company history. For a stand alone event it has to be. I guess the whole Invasion was worse
