Interesting was that was supposed to be a short term deal with Cena winning the title right back (which he did at the Rumble) and Edge was supposed to go back to the midcard but the ratings skyrocketed so much during those few weeks that it sold him to management as a top guy.

Surprisingly the ratings did not go up that much at all with Cena appearing last night. There's usually a huge jump when he's on.
