Just saw an interview with Jon Robinson who wrote the recent book on Wrestlemania and he claims that Seth v Dean and Angle v Jason Jordan were both planned for WM 34 this year before Jordan and Ambrose got hurt. also said that the Usos pitched a TLC match with the New Day and Owens pitched for a match with Vince but they obviously didn't go in those directions. so I guess adding Angle to the mixed tag was a late decision. I guess they really thought they could get Rock

PWI says Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan did trial runs as WWE producers last night. IE attending production/creative meetings and getting used to all the protocol. So it would seem their in ring careers are pretty much over now

Well that was a fantastic ending making me want to see what happens next. I doubt the Shield are heels in the classic sense but I don't know if that even matters anymore. It should be real fun nonetheless

Just announced that HHH will be on the show tonight. I really hope him and/or Steph aren't back going to Ronda. Maybe he's there to shoot the angle with Taker for the Australia show

Cesaro thing was doomed from the start as he was immediately pushed back into a midcard feud with Swagger after being white hot following WM 30. And honestly Heyman didn't seem interested working a mid card program with Swagger and Zeb so he doesn't get a free pass there Axel was never going to work. He just got that spot because he's well liked backstage and Curt was just so well respected they wanted to help out the family

word is Heyman may be sticking around. Don't know which top guy they could pair him with now. Roman and Braun obviously seem out of the equation there. Cant see them putting him with Ronda. Ambrose heel turn? Drew Mac after he dumps Dolph?

I kinda agree with Matt. They basically had to have Brock go out there and say he hates the wrestling business and all the peripheral things surrounding it in order for people to get to cheer Roman. I don't think it should really work that way ideally but I guess whatever it takes

The Brock hates the wrestling business, wwe and the fans stuff actually worked in the long run. I guess at the end of the day most fans love the business more than the wrestlers themselves

I really hope Ronda wins a no nonsense match with no outside stuff. Don't like the idea of her getting getting screwed over for the title two months in a row. Strike while the iron is hot. I don't see a cash in in the main event either. If Owens wins I could absolutely see them booking him to fail and Roman beating him in quick fashion. Then Owens complains and gets a proper title match at HIAC which has been advertised

Yeah we can throw Heyman turning and joining Roman out the window. No swerve after that segment can't see how Roman isn't winnIng Sunday. He's going to look really, really bad if he doesn't

I think Dave was trying to say that in many ways WWE hasn't changed in regards to female talent. Things have improved tremendously the past three years but there are still signs of WWE being stuck in a certain mold. The two champions right now that are getting rocket pushes in part because they are conventionally attractive. Yes they have the mic skills but also have the look Vince is fond of. And other than Charlotte/Ronda all the other women seemingly have to fight and claw for consistent air time. Is it a coincidence that the IIconics got called up only after they got implants? Two years ago at the start of the split Lana was set for a big push. She had just happened to get bigger implants at the time. And as many here have pointed out what is the point of the female talent being pancaked with makeup despite if it fits their character or not? Why do they keep mentioning Nia's beauty when it has nothing to do with her character? so yes WWE should be applauded for the improvement but the work is far from done

Miami seems to be one of the few wwe main stays that still goes along with the storylines. They have pretty much cheered the faces and booed the heels tonight. Even Roman got cheered more than usual and Brock is getting heel heat. There aren't too many cities left like this. Wwe must love going there

yeah apparently he hanged himself in jail and they were unable to save him after rushing him to the hospital. Just so sad.

Meltzer has confirmed his death. What a terrible day. RIP
