  1. just a quick glance online and people seemed pissed about the finish to the main. Can't say I blame them. Really don't get that finish. I guess the plan is to go from Charlotte to Bayley and to the traditional babyface chase
  2. wait till tomorrow night when all the good will and heat from that match is transferred to Foley and Stephanie
  3. Charlotte winning is certainly questionable booking and I really like her
  4. Meltz reporting a lot of people left the arena after Rollins v Owens ended
  5. I'm thrilled that Sasha and Charlotte are main eventing but let's not pretend their program is setting the world on fire or anything. Along with Jericho it's probably the most over thing on Raw right now but that really isn't saying much. Plus they've been feuding since July and most certainly need to move on after this show. They will clearly be on the same team at Survivor Series. After that they need to branch off into new programs
  6. the problem is the people want to see Jericho v Owens more than Rollins v Owens but WWE is waiting for it or might not do it at all. It's not happening at Survivor Series and Jericho is scheduled to leave before year's end

Meltz and PWI saying Sasha v Charlotte is going on last. The betting odds have been weird on that match making me think they have a screwy non finish planned. Probably based on a big stunt bump

WWE has announced Survivor Series will be a 4 hour show. Elimination matches should get plenty of time. Realistically about 30-40 minutes each
  9. So six months away and we seem to have a few locks for mania. Shane v Brock and Rollins v Hunter are set in stone. Most likely Cena v Taker or Cena v Styles for one last run at the title. Reading between the lines with Dave it seems the plan is for Reigns to chase the title again but honestly him v Owens does not seem like a big match. At least now. Bayley v Sasha? Becky v Nikki? On second thought I wouldn't mind a Cena v Ambrose title program as those two have crazy good chemistry together and I don't know if anyone on the roster other than maybe AJ bring the best out of Cena (at least promo wise) than Ambrose. And throw in a Shaq v Big Show celeb match
  10. a minor note Loved how Maryse could not stop laughing during the Spirit Squad routine. She tried to cover it up and look away but she broke anyway
  11. Dave seemed to be implying that Vince sees Shane v Brock as the mania match. Sounds like this match is simply to promote the video game
  12. funny I was watching some early 90s WCW and damn if Madusa wasn't a dead ringer for Jennifer Aniston. With a Murphy Brown wardrobe! I mean yeah they had different body types (umm especially Madusa post 95 or so) but damn if they didn't have the same facial features. Madusa is probably my number one all time
  13. Dave has said the end goal for Brock was always to put over Roman but they are still freaked out by the crowd reactions for Roman and wouldn't dare do it now. But it's still the end goal
  14. About an hour ago on twitter. According to his sources. This is pretty big if true. Dave also alluded to this on WOR yesterday. Hopefully this means they've dropped the Shane program for Brock.
  15. I think its building to Owens v Jericho on top at Survivor Series in Toronto
  16. to me Austin's babyface character had become incredibly stale and borderline unwatchable so I was welcoming the turn. In retrospect it was a disaster business wise. Interesting that Dave on the Lapsed Fan about WM 17 said he warned the company that turning Austin would be a debacle and that if they were going to do a turn it should be Rock. He said people were booing the Rock in the buildup which I don't recall happening much but in retrospect I don't know if that would have been the answer either because Rock was basically part time from that point on so doing a big turn seemed like a mute point
  17. He was more kind to this weeks show but the previous 2 or 3 weeks was unnecessarily rough on the program and seemed to be nitpicking to a degree.
  18. Dave has been pretty hard on Smackdown as well. Pretty much everyone has gone on about how good the show has been but Dave is having none of it. I mean he's not as tough on it as he is on Raw but he's not holding back at all
  19. Another interesting one since both were mentioned, although different years, almost exactly a year apart (371 days), Goldust and Jeff Jarrett met at Fully Loaded 1998 and then Starrcade 1999. yeah Rock Bottom 98 and Starrcade 98

I know it won't happen but Miz should win best on interviews this year. That segment with Dolph last night was one of the best of the year
  21. Oliver Humperdink WM 4 and Starrcade 88 as a manager don't think Tony Schiavone worked WM 6 even though he was still technically under contract or he would have qualified
  22. Just off the top of my head Piper WM 12 and Starrcade 96 Nash WM 12 and Starrcade 96 John Tenta WM 10 and Starrcade 94 Randy Savage WM 10 and Starrcade 94 (only appearance did not wrestle) Jeff Jarrett WM 15 and Starrcade 99 Arn Anderson WM 5 and Starrcade 89 (appearance did not wrestle) Bam Bam Bigelow WM 4 and Starrcade 88 sure I'm missing a bunch. Any others? well, Dustin Rhodes WM 15 and Starrcade 99

Well they didn't even try to compete tonight against the competition. At least they promoted 2 title matches for next week

https://twitter.com/WWE/status/780526577964593152 so this is happening. I don't mind celeb involvement in wrestling. With all partners involved it has a chance to be a decent segment
