  1. I wouldn't want Kris to call on me and not know the answer. Graham, unsurprisingly, did great here. I'd never heard him on a podcast before but I've used his site for years (obviously). And he was really cool when I was doing the Demolition stuff years ago, down to hosting reviews on the site, which made me very happy at the time. He more than held his own. Parv was also extremely even-handed.
  2. That's awesome. I'm waiting for the Prophecy next
  3. His time as Dusty Rhodes Jr. Is weirder.
  4. I'll be glad to work with wahoo if he'll have me. I'll tell him what I was thinking tomorrow if he wants to hear it.
  5. The Keeping it warm bit was because I did not want to see the territory dispersed, because Dylan worked hard on his draft and because I wanted to see what he would do with it. I have a very strong knowledge of Portland between 79 and 82 but he's a lot stronger than me in 83 so I had hoped he'd think again about it and i wanted him to know that I'd step aside if he wanted it back due to the fact he's a friend. That was my starting point. Wahoo did the legwork. You're ready to go now. I'm not. I'm okay with you guys going forward with this.
  6. Go for the draft. I rescind any claim. Wahoo has put in the work. I couldn't commit more than I did because of the trips with my kids and catching up on work afterwards but didn't want to shift facts around just for my own sake. I'll still post what I came up with just because it was fun coming up with it.
  7. But PORTLAND. No, it's ok, I can tell that you guys are really looking forward to this dispersal. I will still list when I get home what I would've done. At least the first few big angles.
  8. So I'm not taking it over? If that's what people want, im ok with it. I am still a couple of weeks away from managing anything (in the woods now which is why I needed the time in the first place with another family trip in a week.) I'd probably rather just list what I would have done than actually do it anyway.
  9. 2:20:00 in and I'm enjoying it a lot. I love how it feels like a quiz show as much as Brainbuster. It actually feels more like Grad School. The professor calls on you and you better know the answer.
  10. I just have no time. But I would like to participate. I just spent years watching one group of stuff instead of another. This is all for fun anyway.
  11. I am so done watching post 91 AJPW.

    WWECW

Even on an ironic level you can enjoy Hunter and Shawn palling up with the Hardyz and Punk.
  13. I am camping this week, but I figured by saying that much then I would awaken OJ.
  14. Is there any argument for Santo other than "higher highs?"
  15. Part of why Rollins cashed in on the main instead of after was so that he could be in the match itself and get the winner's purse of the Main Event of Wrestlemania. If he cashed in after, who knows if it would have counted as a match when it comes to payoffs. Etc.
  16. I am not quite sure how you run Portland with more than 12 people anyway.

    WWECW

I love WWECW and I've never seen any of the stuff you've written about here (I've seen the zombie, I think!).
  18. Which again, I would be totally happy with. If someone wants to dive in, please, don't let me get in the way (and like I said, I'll even try to help when I can if the person wants it).
  19. I can keep the roster warm indefinitely. You know, if I have to. It's Portland.
  20. I'd be happy to do it(starting the second week of August) only if: A) No one who doesn't have a territory already wants it now. (Were that the case, I'd even be glad to help that person out come August). B ) it'd be understood that mainly I'd be doing it to hold the roster together, because it's a great roster, on the idea that Dylan will want it back at some point. I'd be more than happy to step aside at that point and he could deal with the mess I made with the territory. C) Said Mr. Hales doesn't hold the entire situation against me for three years. (Just saying).
  21. I would take Portland in a heartbeat until he wanted it back, but I have absolutely no time until August. I haven't even been able to read most of what you guys have done yet.
  22. It's too bad they've really de-linked money from the equation.
  23. I don't think it's that he takes the hosting gig seriously but that he's at an age and has experienced enough loss that he realizes how fickle life is and he wants friends and not enemies (except for Honky Tonk Man and even then, he was pretty drunk).
  24. Some of the most interesting things Austin says are about protecting his position, whether it's with Jarrett or with other people. Also, how much he regrets walking out and at the very least losing the years of income. I do think you occasionally see hints of insecurity with him. That's the thing about these podcasts. You just see a LOT of the person as a human being in what they say, in what's not said. Austin can be more guarded since he's not shitfaced, mind you.
  25. Bob was the opponent. Gran was the partner of Gino who was on the outside.
