Loss
Last few minutes of a rematch on TV, which is basically Diesel running in and beating up both guys. They were definitely on the right track with Nash at this point, and had something special. The last few months he had in the WWF were when he was most effective. Kevin Ridge
This had to be a big match on WWF TV with Hart versus Undertaker. Diesel makes his expected appearance and takes out Undertaker. Big Jacknife powerbomb and Undertaker is out cold. Bret takes exception to this interference and slugs it out with Diesel after the match. PeteF3
The WWF drops its biggest bomb of the Monday Night Wars to date, giving us about the biggest free-TV match feasible. Tim White gets knocked into a coma, which allows Diesel to drop Undertaker with two Jackknives, with no sitting up this time. Bret and Diesel brawl to the back. soup23
I was surprised this was on tv too. Fuck finish with all three brawling with each other but an effective job of where they were heading towards Mania and towards the February PPV. WWF booking in 1996 hasn't been all hits so far but it has taken a nice simple but effective approach with most of the stuff and been enjoyable. tim
Yuge TV main event. Feels bigger than similarly big name matches WCW gives away on TV because WWF does it so much less. What we see of the match is very slow and uninteresting. Non-finish with a Diesel getting involved and laying out Undertaker. Diesel/Undertaker does feel like a big match and Diesel really vibes well as a heel.
dawho5
I'd agree this had a different feel to the WCW hotshot matches. Nash got put over big by both guys, which might be why. It seems like the WCW attempts for this kind of deal leave way too many excuses and go on a little too long. Here they keep it pretty short and sweet, leaving you wanting more.
