Great segment with Goldust slapping Piper pretty hard after coming on to him for a few minutes and Piper finally slapping him back. The Backlot Brawl at Wrestlemania was set up here.

That of course led to the awesomely Vince Vince line: "I don't see what anyone's sexual proclivity has to do with this."

Really good segment, up head to head with Steiners vs. Road Warriors. That would have been a tough choice for wildly different reasons.

This is a pretty lucid, focused, and fiery promo by Piper. Good segment that improves upon the Diamond Mike-Pink Assassin dynamic thanks to the talent involved.

They played this up to the extreme and Goldust does nothing half-assed as he slides around Piper for a peak. The lesbian line by Piper was ridiculous, but hey that is kind of ROddy's gimmick. I also liked the soundbite annotation from Lawler on commentary. This got me pumped to watch the Backlot Brawl.

This was a good segment all around. Goldust's mannerisms, Roddy's ridiculous promo, Vince's "sexual proclivity" line and King was good on commentary. Piper is a good foil for Goldust. Effective segment to hype the match.

Goldust and Piper works better than Goldust and Razor.  I don't think Razor was near as into this as Piper was character-wise.  When both guys are playing it to the hilt like this it works great.
