Loss Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 Interesting angle, as Diesel opens a casket at ringside and he's laying inside with his eyes closed. Nice camera work.
Kronos Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Fun contrast to the Shawn/Bret story, which is based on rivalry and athleticism -- and old school vs new school. This one has death and coffins and dopplegangers.
Zenjo Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Nash did get jobbed out a lot once he'd given his notice but Barry Horowitz would've been a bit much.
PeteF3 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I liked the finish of Diesel just dropping a fist on Horowitz after one kickout. To this day I have no idea how they did this.
The Chief Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 I liked the finish of Diesel just dropping a fist on Horowitz after one kickout. To this day I have no idea how they did this.Nash said they found a lookalike for the live crowd and spliced in footage they took earlier in the day of Nash himself in the casket. Always dug this and it's a great example of WWE slick production done right. I wanna say they did this again years later. With Heidenreich maybe?
soup23 Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 Cool visual no doubt as I thought it was just a great wax look alike. The build for Mania's top stuff has been solid across the boards as the top of the card was becoming intriguing after the lull of 1995 WWF.
dawho5 Posted November 20, 2024 Report Posted November 20, 2024 Not a bad angle, but a bit too hokey for my tastes. Well done for what it was. I did like the finish with Diesel not using the powerbomb, but almost getting it despite being distracted by the big boot. Then he just punches Horowitz once and it's over. Kinda cool way of doing it I think.
