Loss Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 Bischoff does a pretty decent serious promo saying that what happened last week was unacceptable, and that the NWO's antics will stop. This would have been a good time to slowly start building some babyface momentum, and this seemed like it was setting that up, but nothing of the sort ever happened. Quote
Zenjo Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 Bischoff trying to be a tough guy looked especially ridiculous after getting punk'd out the previous week. They needed an ex-wrestler as an authority figure doing this. Quote
El-P Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 Agreed, Uncle Eric talks a good game when he's not being punked out. I guess they didn't plan to have him joign the nWo yet. Quote
PeteF3 Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Thing is they were teasing things already with Bischoff going "missing" a few times, so maybe they were just sitting on the turn with it in their back pocket for the right time. Bischoff invoking the names of Lou Thesz and Pat O'Connor just seems weird coming from Bischoff, even if it's effective for the promo. I did like Eric admitting that his worst mistake was bringing Hogan into the company. Quote
soup23 Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 Good promo here for Eric talking about the tradition of WCW and name dropping some legends. Quote
dawho5 Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 Good promo for Bischoff. Not good that he went missing late in the broadcast. Quote
