Loss Posted February 21, 2011 Author Report Posted February 21, 2011 The NWO arrives in a limo in good spirits. They browbeat Giant, saying that he dropped the ball, but they still love him. Giant gets testy and mentions that he was told he would get a title shot if he won World War 3, and he did. Hogan says that title match is a "bye" and it is just an excuse to keep the title in the NWO that much longer. Giant says he wants a chance to be the top dog. This turns into an argument and DiBiase makes the cameraman get out. Quote
El-P Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Giant really didn't fit in the nWo to begin with. The turn was needed. Quote
PeteF3 Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Giant doesn't seem particularly persuaded by Hogan's argument as to why he should keep the title. Giant wasn't a disaster as an NWO member or anything, and he got to show off the funny, smartass side of his character which was a real refresher for him. But not running more babyface Giant vs. heel Hogan and Giant vs. Nash was leaving money on the table. Quote
soup23 Posted July 14, 2018 Report Posted July 14, 2018 Big celebration for NWO but Giant doesn't stay nothing initially. When given the chance, he asks about the World War 3 title shot. Hogan tries to deflect but tells Giant he has no shot of being top dog and to not screw up again. DIbiase realizes the camera is still running and he shoos it away. Quote
dawho5 Posted May 31 Report Posted May 31 While I know the Giant doesn't necessarily have success against Hogan, I am glad to see him out of the nWo. That was a poor fit. Quote
