Guest Staples Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Despite being back up, I don't think it's quite fully recovered. There's an annoying ongoing discussion of restaurants in the Meltzer thread.
Matt D Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Hey, PWO is the WON Watchdog Group. Actually, I think PWO has really broadened itself in the last few years. I used to joke that's what it was and now the joke doesn't even really make sense.
goodhelmet Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Matt, why is your post in the DVDVR thread? What's the connection?
Matt D Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 I was responding to Staples that it's fine that over at DVDVR the Meltzer note has humorously become about breakfast places since we always have PWO to pick up the slack, as the discussion about WON was always more focused here anyway. Then I noted that I think we talked about Meltzer a lot more two or three years ago than we do now and we've filled that gap by broadening out in a various ways.
JerryvonKramer Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Can we have 80s Project posts back? This is the most important thing. We need them to compile our ballots.
JerryvonKramer Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 Was wondering if we could get a PWO-based mirror of the DVDR 80s Project for the new Lucha set and beyond? Also, would be nice to have a place to stick my Mid-South, New Japan and Memphis watch-throughs when I get to them. Any thoughts?
Loss Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 I've been giving that idea some thought recently too. It's not to step on the DVDVR project in any way. It's a project associated with that board and rankings and voting would still take place there. We would just provide an additional place for people to talk about what they are watching. I do really like the idea of pretty much every notable thing to ever happen in wrestling eventually having its own thread here.
JerryvonKramer Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 Not only that Loss, I can't be bothered to re-register for DVDR
