This is SOOOO cheesy, and I'm SOOOOOOO glad it's on this set.

 

Some kids are playing basketball and a limo pulls up. Scorpio comes out and tells them they should be in school trying to get an education and then everyone starts dancing to his theme song, which has the most awful female vocalist ever for what it's worth.

 

Funny stuff.

That shot the little kid took was so off from the basketball hoop. I don't think the NBA was in his future. Scorpio busts out big moves in his music video.

So...yeah. A few matches ago I was talking about the genuine coolness of 2 Cold Scorpio. Well, here's Exhibit A in how to completely shit all over that. These kids aren't in school, so 2 Cold is going to have them STEP their way to class. To terrible music, to boot. That's not Salt or Pepa or Spinderella with him, is it?

Pretty stereotypical crap for me honestly. I did like the highlights mixed in but I found this more disappointing than cheesy.

This is WCW, for heaven's sake. Name the last black face that's kept their dignity (or ever had any to keep in the first place) throughout their run. Simmons has come closest so far, but his title reign stank and he's unlikely to recover.

 

If you're black, you shuck, jive, and bust moves. Dignity is for the unemployed and the critics. Period, end of report.

 

At least they had him deliver the standard "stay in school" speech while he was at it. Take small positives where you find them, guys.
