Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Brian Lee and Tammy Fytch are making fun of Ron Wright behind his back while Tammy spends his money on new threads. DWB shows up to take him home, and there's a war of words.
El-P
I really like this angle because it's so organic in turning DWB. Even as a heel he was indeed having Wright as a father figure and here he shows he does care for him. Tammy and Lee are great making fun of Wright behind his back to the point that you have to feel kinda sorry for Wright despite him being an asshole. Young punks making fun and using an old man never fails to be repulsive.
Kevin Ridge
Tammy has been taking care of Ron Wright's medication. They are sure Wright does not miss Dirty White Boy at all. Wright starts rambling about about tag titles but cannot remember the date he won them. He will get back to us on that. Lee and Tammy laugh behind the whole time. DWB to the rescue but Wright stays with Tammy for now.
PeteF3
Wright is coming off as a guy legitimately losing his memory, while Tammy and Lee make fun of him while he's rambling and not answering Bob's question. What a gloriously shitty thing for two heels to do. This is a pretty brilliant way to generate sympathy for such a longtime heel manager, helped by DWB's enraged promo. GSR
Tammy says that Ronnie has been such a sweetheart buying her all these gifts, diamonds, a new bracelet and a new necklace (all while Lee is flashing Wright’s credit card in the background again). They’re not really worried about the Dirty White Boy because they know how to treat Ronnie and he’s on new medication and feels better than ever before. Bob Caudle asks Wright if he misses the Dirty White Boy but Ron starts rambling and talking about his brother and the various titles he has won. He starts repeating himself and can’t remember things and it is as if he is losing his mind. As this is going on, Lee and Fytch are laughing and making faces behind his back as though their plan is working. Wright says he thinks he wants to go home, when out rushes the Dirty White Boy who says that he is taking him home with him. Fytch says Ronnie doesn’t want to go home with him and wants to go home with them (which he agrees with). The White Boy tells them if either of them hurt Wright in any way there will be hell to pay. This turn is being done so well and Lee and Fytch are coming across as the biggest pieces of shit you could imagine using and exploiting Wright like this. garretta
Everything about this was just about perfect. I don't know what I liked best: Tammy bragging about what Ron has bought her, Brian blowing off Tony as a threat, or both of them having the time of their lives in the background, laughing it up and making fun of Ron while he's having flashbacks to God knows when. Then we add Tony's promo where he swears vengeance if either one of them dares to hurt Ron, and the package is complete, with Bob's confusion as the ribbon on top. The only thing that would have made it better is a physical confrontation between Brian and Tony, but we'll be getting plenty of those soon enough. Everyone talks about Rock 'n' Roll's battles with the Bodies, Corny's epic feud with Bullet Bob, and even Tony's battles with Tracy Smothers, but this angle gets overlooked when fans talk about SMW's best angles ever. Not only does this one turn Tony face, which figured to be impossible just a few short months ago, but we see an inspired performance from Tammy at the age of nineteen or twenty, depending on when her birthday is. She's not quite experienced enough to be on Corny's level as a manager just yet, but she's a lot closer than she has any right to be for her age. What a shame that Sunny derailed the whole thing. soup23
Oh man did I love this. Lee and Tammy are such assholes clowning behind Wright's back and it was natural for DWB to have some compassion because of what he thinks about Wright. This in turn creates a new babyface in the promotion. Really well done stuff.
