Loss Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 Recap of the Warrior/Shango angle from last week. Extra footage is shown of Warrior vomiting. Charles Wright is obviously a guy Vince really, really wanted to be a star because he got tons and tons of chances over a long period of time. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 So glad we got that extra footage of Warrior puking. Felt like this belonged in the Attitude era. Quote
WingedEagle Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Highlights of the Warrior/Shango angle. Okerlund had a knack for these segments. Backstage Warrior is projectile vomiting all over a paramedic. You stay classy, San Diego. Quote
BackToBionic Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 So glad we got that extra footage of Warrior puking. Felt like this belonged in the Attitude era. Ok, I'll say it, "He's gonna...he's gonna.....HE'S GONNA PUUUUKE" Quote
PeteF3 Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Oh good, here's that puking footage. This was the height of my Apter mag-reading and this was something they absolutely lost their minds over. For once their blatant anti-WWF stance seemed pretty justified. Okerlund sells this as best he can, as does Shango during his promo. Like I said, I got a genuine kick out of the black ooze and jobbers getting set on fire. But this shit was awful. Not Black Scorpion awful, but it's one weak-ass main event program. Quote
MikeCampbell Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 Here's the Warrior puking! One of the few bad angles that I, as a nine year old mark, knew was stupid. Honestly, I don't see the point in including both the original footage and this on the disc. The stuff before the puking wasn't so great that it needed to be seen twice, like Steamer hanging Rude was. Quote
garretta Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Last week's Warrior/Shango angle, with puke and moralistic commentary added. They shouldn't have shown the backstage stuff unless Warrior was going to throw up something abnormal, like the black ooze. Otherwise, this was just sickness for the sake of being sick. Why would Vince thing that anyone would want to see something like that? Just because he seemingly has a vomit fetish, does he assume that everyone else watching does too? No wonder this angle lost them business. If I'd had a kid under ten, this would have been the last WWF show they ever watched, period. Quote
dawho5 Posted April 24, 2020 Report Posted April 24, 2020 All the this-idea-is-awful stuff aside (which I completely agree with), It almost seems like this is a perfect feud for a guy who spouts mystic mumbo jumbo like Warrior. Quote
