Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Candido accidentally says if he can't beat Boo Bradley, he might as well leave Smoky Mountain Wrestling and Jim Ross pushes him on it. Jim Ross: "Are you a man of your word? Do you have integrity?" Chris Candido: "Of course! I'm from New Jersey and I'm friends with Dennis Coraluzzo!" The fans end up goading him as well, and finally says he'll agree to Loser Leaves Town if Boo Bradley agrees, but he's reluctant and feels like he has been hoodwinked. Cox
Chris Candido: "Of course! I'm from New Jersey and I'm friends with Dennis Coraluzzo!"I saw this probably about 10-15 years ago, and after years of going to Dennis Coralluzzo shows down the street from my house and hearing Dennis stories and such, this had me howling with laughter. I miss both Candido and Dennis, New Jersey-area indy wrestling is poorer without both of them.
Tim Evans
Did Candido really call Boo a retard? Wow.
El-P
Did Candido really call Boo a retard? Wow. Does that mean I can say it too ? Anyway, typical fun promo from Candido, stumbling into a Loser Leaves Town match because of his big mouth.
PeteF3
I think we all know where this is headed. One of the two gimmick matches at the Double Header is a loser-eats-dog-food match, which seems rather rinky-dink even for Cornette. Candido wants to let us know that "I may as well leave Smoky Mountain" was just a figure of speech, and I think we know who was behind that Bret Hart-won't-wrestle-in-the-US-again stip.
