Loss Posted November 23, 2011 Author Report Posted November 23, 2011 Dave is doing a bedside promo flanked by Hogan merchandise thanking fans for their support. Hogan calls him mid-vignette (of course we don't hear Hogan's voice, because Hogan couldn't be bothered to shoot angles very often at this point in WCW). Kimberly tries to bring him a gift, but then sees the camera and panics. If I remember right, this was a pet rabbit. Quote
tomk Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 The awesome Lee Benaka interview with a young Evad Sullivan: http://www.deathvalleydriver.com/Benaka/dannenhauser.html Quote
FLIK Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 If I remember right, this was a pet rabbit. Indeed I loved this feud, it was mostly played out on Pro or Worldwide, can't remember which, but it was 1 of the C shows that aired super fuckin early in the mouring that DDP got banished to exclusively for what I recall being a large chunk of time. Anyways, DDP would always come out and do arm wrestling challenges, mostly against jobbers but then 1 day he got into it with Evad and one thing led to another and it turned into him & Kim having a secret friendship and she gave him the Rabbit and then the Rabbit got put up for grabs and Kim got put up for grabs and then Evad's piggy bank he'd been saving since childhood got put up for grabs and I forget how it all ended but DDP came out of it getting a big push by the end of the year. Tim Evans Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 They couldn't even get Hogan to record his voice for this? Weak. Kim was hilarious in her getup. Quote
El-P Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I have the feeling Kim will totally carry this entire feud. Probably the only thing involving Dave Sullivan that I will ever enjoy, since I like DDP and Kim. Yeah, Hogan "phoning in" during the segment was corny enough (I'm sure the bastard proceeded to call Dave only because of the cameras in the room, bastard), but not hearing Hogan's voice made it even worse. PeteF3 Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 "Phoning it in" has never been so apt a term. Kimberly is in, practically in disguise, and quickly leaves a gift when she sees the camera. Quote
