Loss Posted December 24, 2011 Author Report Posted December 24, 2011 Fatu is out in front of the Cow Palace, and they tried to make this pretty positive and inspirational. I like the idea, but considering he'd been on national television as a Samoan savage (No, not the Samoan Savage ...), they should have gone all the way and repackaged him with a different name. Quote
El-P Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 they should have gone all the way and repackaged him with a different name. You mean like The Sultan ? Quote
Tim Evans Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Good gimmick. Too bad it didn't last long. That scar on Fatu is a little distracting though. Quote
El-P Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Don't ask me why, but I really enjoyed those vignettes. Always was a fan of Fatu, and I was glad he was coming back as a single wrestler and not playing a savage. Quote
Matt D Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Slick could have always gotten him to bowl first. Quote
Smack2k Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 I have always thought if they would have gone with the Samoan Gangsta Party angle trying to get Fatu back into being a thug and let it move forward, it could have been a really nice mid-card feud for late Summer, early fall 1995 when they could have used them.... Why did the Gangsta Party come and go soo quick? Quote
Zenjo Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Any anti-drugs message on WWF programming is always a highlight. Quote
PeteF3 Posted October 17, 2014 Report Posted October 17, 2014 This isn't bad for what it is. It's a little weird that these vignettes are airing now, considering we saw Fatu in his Make a Difference gear in the lumberjack match. Quote
