Matt D
You have no idea how excited I was when I finally saw the original Austin Idol angle since I didn't realize this was a take off of it.
Loss
Badd shows up all dirty and says he had a flat tire. DDP shows up to tell him how stupid he is. Maxx Muscle accidentally lets it slip that Badd had four flat tires and then we get "FOUR FLAT TIRES? I SAID AAAAAAA FLAAAATTTTTT TIIIIIIIIIIREEEEEE!" followed by Gene Okerlund saying "OH! WHAT A PUNCH!" when he decks DDP. The physical part of this looked fake as could be, but I still enjoyed this. Now, WCW has some passable, decent and good things going up and down the card. The infrastructure was in place to take off before the NWO came in.
Tim Evans
Even when Johnny tries to sound serious, he sounds so goofy.
BackToBionic
Every time I see Johnny B Badd all I can think about is how my 7th grade Geography teacher had an autographed 8x10 of him behind her desk. After staring at it for months I finally worked up the nerve to ask her about it. She was like "OH HES SO CUTE I JUST LOVE HIM". I never mentioned it again. El-P
DDP vs Mero. The little undercard feud that could. In hindsight I wish Mero had stayed with WCW, he would have been tons of fun working with the NJ3, the luchadors and the nWo guys. And would have spared us Sable as a WWF drawing card too. PeteF3
Good Lord, it's here that you realize just how huge DDP is. Badd isn't that small and Page towers over him. Like 3/4 of the episodes of Seinfeld, this angle couldn't be re-run in a world full of cell phones. Weird timing as this goes off the air right as Badd unloads on DDP.
