Loss Posted January 2, 2012 Author Report Posted January 2, 2012 They did a live Dungeon of Doom segment on Nitro! King Curtis is sitting somewhere in the arena -- I can't tell exactly where -- doing his "SULLIVAN!" routine before they segue to Gene interviewing Giant and Sullivan.
Tim Evans Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I gotta give props to King Curtis for doing this and not cracking a smile or breaking up. SULLIVAN!!!
BackToBionic Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 How did I make it to 2012 before seeing this? Hilarious.
Laney Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Horrendous segment here. This period in 1995 was just a terrible moment for wrestling in the US. The block of ice containing The Yeti was introduced here. This whole thing was just terribly cartoony and defines wrestlecrap.
El-P Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 Amazing ! King Curtis live on Nitro ! With a giant iceberg in the arena ! The Yeti is coming ! At the end of the show the giant block of ice would explode and reveal… a mummy. At least Prince Kharis had those offensive James Mitchell promos leading to the unveiling.
PeteF3 Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 SULLIVAN, MY SON. THE INSURANCE PACKAGE HAS BEEN DELIVERED. FROM NORTH OF KATHMANDU, FROM THE HIMALAYAS AND THE NORTH FACE OF MOUNT EVEREST, THE SHERPA GUIDES HAVE GONE OUT, A THIRTEEN TON OF MICE(????). When Sullivan clipped the whiskers of the Rare White Bengal Tiger...something or other, but it has to do with Darkness. Sullivan in more lucid fashion explains that the Sherpa Guides have given Sullivan the YET-TAY. Giant cuts his first live promo that we see on the Yearbook, and it isn't bad, until his evil laugh at least.
Superstar Sleeze Posted July 18 Report Posted July 18 Ok so I defended the Dungeon of Doom last week, but yeah this is pretty horrible. If they just kept it to Sullivan, Giant, Jimmy Hart and Luger it would have been a strong heel stable, but this shit is ridiculous. I forgot other people besides Tony Schiavone call him the YET-TAY, which is why I still call those Yeti cups Yet-TAYs and get weird looks from my wife. The Rare White Bengal Tiger always cracks me up. I was today years old when I realized that Rare White Bengal Tiger is Hulk Hogan. Sullivan is very good at this type of camp. Giant is fine besides the Laugh at the end.
