They keep stressing that this show was taped before the Bluegrass Brawl, which is smart. Cornette does one of his fall-out-of-bed promos about running Bob Armstrong out of SMW.

I believe this was taped before the Bluegrass Brawl. I bet Bob Caudle came out at the beginning of the show with that's days newspaper to prove it was indeed taped beforehand.

Corny cuts a promo about trying to get Bob Armstrong out of Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Bob Caudle makes sure to remind the fans that this show was taped before Bluegrass Brawl which was good idea. Great segment.

Cornette has been so good this year at coming up with original fire hatred promos for 3 different angles. This was another example.

I like that they mention that it was taped before Bluegrass Brawl too. LOGIC. (as opposed to those business exposing WCW TV tapings at the same time)

Help me out here, I'm lost: was this or was this not taped before Bluegrass Brawl? The taping schedule makes for a very awkward promo by Cornette's standards.

The response to the previous Bob Armstrong interview.

 

Bob Caudle tells Cornette how Bob Armstrong said his mother hasn’t got enough money to get rid of him. Cornette says it wouldn’t cost him 5 cents to get rid of Bob Armstrong because he knows a number of people that will do it for free, as he’s made a lot of enemies in pro wrestling with his John Wayne, Marshall Dillon, white knight in shining armour approach to things. He almost ran Smoky Mountain Wrestling one time before, got rid of him and thought it was for good but he rebounded back. He’s one shot left and Bullet Bob still doesn’t know who his mystery man is. He’s the most awesome find of his career, bigger than him, meaner than him and stronger than him. Then with Bob Armstrong and the Rock & Roll Express out of the way, nothing is going to stop him from running rough shot over SMW again.
