Loss Posted May 31, 2012 Author Report Posted May 31, 2012 Flair cuts a good promo, but Hogan hasn't even shown up yet, and you can already see him slipping from where he was earlier in the year. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Yep, I have been curiously awaiting this and there seems to visible strain here on Flair. Quote
Exposer Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Flair is all senile and upset about Hogan. Good promo. Quote
soup23 Posted June 17, 2012 Report Posted June 17, 2012 tony with a rare interview. I again hate the can noise. I still think Flair was showing some good poise here. He built up the unification match well. Quote
El-P Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Hyper upset Flair promo. Works for me as pretty much all of the old-school NWA/WCW fans must have felt the same way. Quote
PeteF3 Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 Good angry promo from Ric. He's upset with Gene for calling Hogan's official arrival the "greatest day since I've joined WCW," which the Starrcade build really adds to in a cool way. Flair tells Hogan he's nothing until he's wrestled Austin, Arn, Sting, etc. Oh, if only. I'm amused by the idea of Hogan arriving as a young newcomer having to work his way up from beating Buddy Lee Parker to beating Steven Regal to getting a shot at Flair. Quote
Loss Posted April 26, 2014 Author Report Posted April 26, 2014 They definitely needed to push the idea more than Hogan had something to prove. He didn't, and he was entitled to his spot. But that doesn't mean he should have been presented as entitled to his spot, if that makes sense. Quote
