Clown music playing in background. Bourne believes you need to stay close to your enemies such as Scorpio. He’s not Doink though there is lots of immitators. Actually like him more as the evil Doink character than this. Him doing full evil Doink could have worked in ECW.

Borne is a Piper clone, but a good promo. No one else could have done so much with Doink.

In what ways ? Certainly not in his work. I haven't seen any Portland, so maybe I'm missing something, but I never thought about Piper hearing one of Bourne's promos like I did with Dr. Tom.

If you listen to the Borne Again promos, his delivery and inflection is almost identical.

Borne isn't as identical to Piper in Portland as he is here. I thought the promo was solid though.

Did Piper get royalties for this? Borne wasn't even from Scotland or Canada.

Yeah, the Piper imitation is obvious, he just imitates different aspects than Dr. Tom did. Like Piper at his best, this is a good promo in that what he says is basically irrelevant or even nonsensical, but he manages to say it in a compelling way.
