Repeat of interview with Rock & Roll Express before. Security camera footage of the Gangstas hanging out with friends. Ricky and Robert show up and attack them which leads to them getting arrested. Ricky challenges the Gangstas to a ghetto street fight.

They set this up by showing clips from the recent blackjack beatdown on Morton. Then we get surveillance footage (How big brother!) of the Rock & Rolls attacking the Gangstas when they are hanging out with their friends. Morton gives another great promo and is really carrying this feud.

[Exposer]

They do a brief rundown of this feud and show surveillance footage of the Rock N Rolls attacking the Gangstas in a bar. Funny but awesome. Ricky Morton cuts a tremendous promo on the situation and this feud rules.

The video of the attack on the Gangsters was really well done and the feud has really carried SMW since Jake left.

Morton's great promo is almost enough to make me care about that feud. Almost. Gibson is a zombi.

Morton makes good on his promise to strike back outside of the arena. "Security footage" of a cafeteria-looking place, at a full 24 frames per second with sound. My multibillion dollar employer doesn't have cameras like that. Even in casual conversation every other word out of New Jack's mouth is "Y'understand?" Morton comes in and creams New Jack with a trash can and the fight is on! Awesome action and a cool payoff to last week's assault.

 

Morton follows with another sterling promo, pointing out the Gangstas still haven't beaten the Rock 'n Rolls--he demands a Ghetto Street Fight and then outs New Jack & Mustafa as being from Tupelo, Mississippi!

Security video footage of the Rock & Roll Express attacking The Gangstas at a bar. Okay little brawl but not too sure why The Gangstas friends didn’t try to help them and just flapped around trying to separate the two teams? Surely they would’ve been getting involved and throwing some punches and boots to the Rock & Rolls?

 

One thing I do like is how there is always a plausible, legit reason for them having video footage of events that happen outside of the arena. They did it when The Thrillseekers were jumped by the Heavenly Bodies in the car park and they did it again here.

 

The Rock & Roll Express are back in the studio and Ricky says that The Gangstas came into Smoky Mountain Wrestling and said that they’d beaten every tag team across the United States but hadn’t beaten the Rock & Roll Express. They come to SMW and they beat them, but after the match they jumped them with blackjacks. They then had a title match with them, which they again won, but The Gangstas got themselves some hot shot lawyer and they had to hand the belts over to them. Finally there was the incident where he got bumped at the side of the road, and while The Gangstas might be the SMW tag team champions, they still haven’t beaten the Rock & Roll Express. He said that they were going to get them and they did. The Gangstas claim that they are these tough street fighters from California, so they go to a bar to fight them and what do they do? They have them arrested. Ricky then challenges them to ‘their’ kind of match, a ‘ghetto street fight’ and if they’re as tough as they claim they’ll bring it on.

 

Good stuff from Ricky here but Robert is silent as ever and doesn’t say a thing.
