Sid v HBK SS 96 just might be my fav WWF title match as weird as that sounds to me 1st, Austin/Angle was for the WWE title, not WHC. 2nd, it's funny you mention Sid/HBK & Austin/Angle which were two matches I seriously considered for my pick. Although Hogan/Warrior on Coliseum video made me a wrestling fan for life. now that I think about it, that match was also an Intercontinental title match so I think that DQ'd my IC title pick. I feel like if 1,000 people voted on the top US Title match of all time, Magnum/Tully might actually get all 1,000 votes. I don't think it is even close. Jingus Posted January 16, 2013 Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 I would suggest the Piper/Valentine dog collar match as an acceptably-distant second for Tully/Magnum, until I looked it up and found that it was a non-title match despite Greg being the US champ at the time.
