Sting and JYD are doing a promo and Tommy Rich comes out to tell them "they got Luger". Luger comes through the crowd with torn clothes very angry. I don't think this was ever followed up on, though it may have been. It's implied that the Horsemen are responsible.

Quasi-NWO-style angle here as Tommy Rich interrupts a Sting/JYD promo to say, "They got Luger." Luger is out with his shirt torn up and carrying a club. And that's it. Luger is moving around pretty well for someone who allegedly got attacked.

Yeah I like Luger but he looked stupid here running around with torn clothing and a pipe.

Sting says the Dudes with Attitudes are ready to fight dirty with the Horsemen. Rich says that someone has gone after Luger. Lex hits the ring with torn clothing. Seems the Horsemen took some shots at Luger.

Maybe Luger fought off whoever it was with the pipe, and that's how he was able to walk to the ring.

 

At any rate, this was a pretty standard promo until Rich's interruption. JYD never even got a chance to speak. Since Corny had mentioned on an earlier Louisville Slugger that Windham could slap around Luger "any day of the week", maybe they were trying to restart the Luger/Windham issue here and got sidetracked.

Luger looks insane with his clothing tattered, and not in a good way. Totally weird. I forgot JYD hung around this long too. I think he's on his way out soon?

Sting and Junkyard Dog are with Jim Ross in front of the live crowd, and before Ross can even finish his questions he’s cut off by Sting. He says that the Horsemen have definitely turned it up a notch, but if you think the Dog, himself, Paul Orndorff and Lex Luger cannot turn it up, you’ve got another thing coming. They’ve had it with the Horsemen and are going to put an end to them once and for all. The Dog is about to speak when they’re interrupted by Tommy Rich who says that ‘they’ got Luger, but he doesn’t know who ‘they’ is as he couldn’t make much sense of things. We then see Luger hopping over the guard rail into the ring with his clothes all torn (although it looks more like Brutus Beefcake has taken his shears to them!). Sting, JYD and Rich all head to the ring to try and find out what happened, while Ross says that Lex is screaming about the Horsemen and he thinks it is them who attacked him.

Not sure what the Horsemen were trying to do to Luger. Rip his clothes off? Have they been watching too much USWA? Anyway, I guess we get across that Sting and co. are sick of the Horsemen and their shit.
