Loss
Later in the show, Heenan is still handcuffed and Rude is out and furious. Rude calls this "bullshit" and gets censored. Rude won't even let Vince finish his threat over using that language. Hilarious.
PeteF3
Heenan is presumably still there, to this day. Rude accuses Vince of being behind all this, getting bleeped a few times. "Heel manager makes comments about babyface's mother" is a lame enough impetus for a feud, but "heel reveals he told manager to say said comments" is an extra layer of lame. soup23
Awesome finish to the episode. This was a small thing but everything made sense and it made the overall Superstars episode memorable.
flyonthewall2983
Was this a hint towards Vince being the real "boss man"?
garretta
I haven't seen the first part of this yet, but this part was kind of dumb. Since when does a wrestler tell his manager what to say, especially when Bobby Heenan is the manager in question? If this was all the reason they had to start a feud, they should have left it alone. I wonder if Rude got told not just about his language, but about saying stuff like "You could've stopped this, McMahon". At the time, Vince was very zealous about maintaining his geeky "just an announcer" persona on the air, even though almost everyone who wanted to know that he was the owner of the whole ball of wax already did. Somehow, I don't think that Rude was the type who would have cared.
drew wardlaw
Rude pissed off and swearing makes this awesome.
GSR
‘The Brain’ is still handcuffed to the guard rail although he has Rick Rude with him now. Vince McMahon has gone down to ringside but Rude is livid. He thinks that McMahon had something to do with this and he let it happen, while Heenan says how he stood by and never helped him. Rude is in McMahon’s face telling him to get the key and calling this ‘bullshit’. Vince thinks it’s karma after all the remarks he has made about the Bossman’s mother, but Rude tells him to shut up, he made the remarks and again calls it ‘bullshit’. Rude wants the Bossman out here now so he can deal with him, but McMahon has to close the show with Heenan still handcuffed to the rail. Rude is one intimidating and scary dude when angry. dawho5
I remember Heenan saying something about Rude never really wanting him as his manager. Rude apparently felt that Bobby stole some of his heat. You might take this as at least matching Bobby's performance in an attempt to seem like the alpha of the group.
