Gilbert is back out. Lawler jumps him this time and they have another brawl. They have to be pulled apart a second time. Great again!

Out of control studio brawls are awesome. This was a great one. I love this feud.

Gilbert cuts an absolutely psychotic promo, maybe the promo of his life, which is saying something. And Lawler's back out and it's back on! If it's Lawler vs. Gilbert on Monday night then we've got two of the greatest match builds in Memphis history in back to back weeks. Awesome stuff.

Gilbert’s time for a promo but Jerry’s turn to interfere. They brawl briefly in studio before wrestlers come out and break it up. Good follow up.

Gilbert was giving a great promo but then here comes Lawler and they are at it again. Great stuff all around on this episode.

Eddie was tremendous in his short time on the mic. He finally gets to the heart of the matter: he wants Lawler's spotlight, pure and simple, with no more messing around. This brings the Kingfish out for Round 2, which is as wild as Round 1 was earlier. From what I've heard, Lawler refusing to really put him over for good was one of the reasons Eddie finally left Memphis. It's easy to see why he was frustrated, because Lawler eventually made it so he was the territory's one and only draw, which made working there pointless once he was done with you, especially for the money Jarrett reportedly paid.

 

How they get from this to even reluctant partners in just a few weeks is going to be something to see. Those Texas invaders must really be evil!
