Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Larry Zbyszko interviews Barry to ask him when he's going to get rid of this thorn in his side named Brian Pillman. Windham says he's not even a thorn in his side, but Windham hasn't taken him out because he's a compassionate guy. Barry calls him a "Yellow Dog", in a bit of foreshadowing to an angle I completely forgot about that I'm now dreading going through again. But we'll worry about that later. Pillman hits the ring to shut him up and Windham bails.
shoe
A nice little segment to add some more fuel to the fire .
PeteF3
"You're nothin' but a Yellow Dog, pal!" Oh boy. I know exactly where this is going, and that angle wasn't a good idea when they did it with Windham in Florida the first time. Windham cuts a pretty good cocky douche promo though he comes close to burying Pillman.
Kevin Ridge
Well, now I'm looking forward to this Yellow Dog stuff. Pillman attacks Barry from behind but then everyone just leaves at that and walks away.
soup23
I also cringed at the yellow dog stuff. Its funny to see Larry and Barry paling it up considering what happens in 5 months. Decent pull apart segment to get over the taped fist stip.
garretta
The physical confrontation between Pillman and Windham wasn't much, but I loved the contest between Windham and Zbyszko to see who could outsmarm the other. To borrow a phrase from Gorilla Monsoon, there isn't any conceit left in either of their families, because they have it all. I'm glad we'll get to see the taped fist match at Superbrawl, because it seems like it's going to be a total war.
dawho5
Good promo for the match. Really makes you want to see Pillman knock the arrogance right out of Windham.
