Bix Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 WCW merchandise! Several years too late!HA. It was indeed weird how they had a huge rush of merchandise during this period, both direct response and moreso at retail. Granted, they had a merchandise catalog before this but I don't remember ever seeing it plugged on TV. Quote
Strummer Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I loved the WCW action figures that were released in 1991. I was ecstatic to finally have non-wwf figures. I remember buying some of the really cheap looking AWA ones in the mid/late 80s but the WCW ones this year were great. I remember getting Flair, Steiners, Sting, Luger Windham and Sid Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted May 10, 2013 Report Posted May 10, 2013 Late to the party and the merchandise itself looks a couple years out of date already. Quote
soup23 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I concur with the action figures, the sting is still one of my favorites. Quote
garretta Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Not a bad commercial, and the product line looks decent, but as most of the others have said, this feels like, to quote Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams, "too much too little too late". Quote
dawho5 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Look, here's the thing. With all the absolute trash on WCW TV at this point in time, I'm willing to accept something even passable (like this) as a huge step up. They didn't even go off on some useless tangent or show how flimsy/breakable the merchandise was inadvertently. It's a big win if you ask me. Quote
