Loss Posted April 4, 2013 Author Report Posted April 4, 2013 Hey, let's continue building everything for the Bash around Flair. With Luger scheduled to win the title, it's weird that they didn't use him in that role instead. Quote
PeteF3 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 Holy shit, Flair vs. Luger in a cage! Unprecedented! Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted May 11, 2013 Report Posted May 11, 2013 Promo for Flair versus Luger in a steel cage at the bash. So looking forward to it. Quote
soup23 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Going to be a big one in Baltimore. Quote
garretta Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 I guess they wanted to make Luger winning the belt a real surprise. By showcasing Flair so heavily, they wanted to make it seem as if he would retain, which would make Luger's victory even sweeter by making it seem like a true upset. That's a logical way of looking at it, anyway. But since when do logic and WCW belong together? It's odd that we see almost nothing of Luger in these commercials at all, even with the above said. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, after promoting the show this way, they couldn't have been surprised that the fans clamored for Flair and crapped all over Luger winning the title. They just couldn't have been. Quote
dawho5 Posted November 25, 2017 Report Posted November 25, 2017 Wasn't Flair all but fired at this time? Is this more of that WCW lack of communication between guys in charge deal? Quote
