goodhelmet
Tonight, Rob and I talk about one of his favorite wrestlers, Sean Waltman. Rob gives us the lowdown on why Waltman was a great wrestler, his memories of him in Global, his thoughts on the Clique and must-see matches. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/goodhelmet/20...on-sean-waltman
shoe
Another fun show. A couple of my favorite moments of Waltman in WCW were 3 that come to mind. 1. During the Flair feud they were cutting promos on each other and Flair said 6-Pac I've been World Champion more times than you've had pieces of ass. Waltman's look on his face was great. 2. The bumps he took in a War Games match. He was bumping into the top of the cage. 3. In the Scott Hall/Larry Z build Larry Z caught him in some form of choke that was so awesome in his sell job. shoe
I also loved it when I read it in the Observer years ago was how he marked out over Super Porky working in the WWE.
Loss
Waltman seemed to be having the time of his life in that Flair feud.
rovert
Waltman seemed to be having the time of his life in that Flair feud. He was amazing in his role was the workhouse of the NWO in that feud in particular too.
Loss
Syxx gave an out of shape Flair some really tremendous openings in that Slamboree six-man. That match was entertaining for what it was supposed to be and Waltman pretty much carried all five guys. The period from the beginning of the NWO through the return after the lawsuit was really when I think Flair looked worse than he ever had. Terrible interviews that had nothing to do with anything, and he really seemed irrelevant. Returning after the lawsuit led to some great late-1998 promos and 1999 had him finding himself again, as much as he was going to with age and politics both working against him in a big way. shoe
A cool show would be to pick a wrestler that you guys differ on. It could be like a point/counterpoint type of show. Flair and Reed come to mind.
Kronos
Starting the podcasts from the beginning, with the Death of WCW stuff. Man, it makes me want to buy the discs. Will, I am on to you - this podcast is nothing but an kickass, informative infomercial for your comps.
goodhelmet
With the Schneider show, Death of WCW, and a couple of others, you are right. However, most of the time it is just on atopic that Rob and I think would be fun.

Do you have an outline but then let things go where they go?
goodhelmet
Do you have an outline but then let things go where they go? This. I have an outline and then Rob takes it wherever he wants to.
Victator
One thing I really liked about his time in WCW was how he was able to go from playing a bully type heel against Rey and Juvi to being a cowardly heel against bigger guys. Then over a year later in the WWF he was really good at playing an underdog face.
