Who's the "local flavor" HOF picks for next year?

So WM XXX is going to be in Mid-South's old stomping grounds of New Orleans, but all the major players are already inducted. Just off the top of my head you have Duggan, DiBiase, JYD, Ladd, and of course Watts himself. I'm thinking Magnum TA and Mr. Wrestling II perhaps, or maybe they'll make another run at Sting since he got his first big break in the UWF.

Cornette throws a wrench in MX HOF plans, and I'm not sure about Kamala with his amputated foot or whatever the story was. But I do think Magnum TA is a likely pick. I wonder if they would induct the Rock & Roll Express.

I would love to see them induct Butch Reed. He feels very under rated to me and it's disappointing to me that he's never even been considered worthy of discussion for the WON HOF.

I thought way too long about this a few weeks ago and after having a good chuckle about Lash LeRoux, the names I thought were most obvious were the Freebirds and Roberts but looking here, Duggan and Taylor are also great ideas. With the new DVD coming out, I think Watts might be an early favourite too.

Danny Hodge was more of an Oklahoma star but 2014 needs to be the year he goes in.

 

Jake (assuming he's sober, which actually seems likely at this point), Freebirds, Hodge, and Doc feel like the best choices, but then you have two deceased inductees (Doc and Gordy) and they don't like to do that.

Amusingly, at one point of what little they showed of Backlund's speech on TV, he mentioned being in the Hall with such good company and they cut to a few HOFers in the crowd, and one person they cut to was Hayes.

Would love to see Danny Hodge go in. Freebirds and Roberts are great choices for New Orleans. So is Godfather. I think DX or at least the Outlaws will go in also. Can't pass up the chance to merchandise DX beads and big floppy DX hats.
