Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
WCW just puts an on-screen graphic up to recognize Pillman's death, but I don't think there was any mention of it on the air.
shawmic
I don't know if it's on this show but they do mention it on the air at one point and say that Mike Tenay is working on a WCW Home Video release of Pillman with profits going to his family. Bix
Any idea what happened there? I know a tape of it eventually surfaced somewhere but it was never officially released.
flyonthewall2983
Probably just lip service. Between this and what WWF did on that same night, it seems the Big Two thought they could milk this for publicity (with Princess Di's death the major news at the time). Kevin Ridge
Just a screen graphic wishing condolences. At least they acknowledged it but would have been nice to see a video of his WCW career.
soup23
WCW acknowledges Pillman's death. I would have liked to have maybe seen a brief discussion with Tony and the crew but this is serviceable.
El-P
No picture nor short video. But better this than nothing.
