Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
They speak vaguely about the Pillman storyline now, simply saying Marlena was "away". Goldust doesn't say a word during this interview until he just snaps and says he can't do this anymore. He tells Terri everything she says is making him sick. Dustin says his father has made his life a miserable wreck for 25 years and that he has been a little puppy dog for her for the past seven years. He ends up cursing at her, telling her he doesn't love her anymore and that he has found someone else. Both do a great acting job in this. This is an awesome segment and leads to the very weird era of Goldust.
ajtroma
I don't know why I hated this so much back then, but actually, Marlena does a pretty good acting job here. Although, way too much makeup.
Kevin Ridge
I thought they legitimately broke up at this point. Otherwise, it’s good acting by both of them. Dustin wants to be who he wants to be. Artist formally known as Goldust on the way.
Zenjo
I hate a lot of the things they did with Goldust, but this segment was shocking in a good way. It looks like they've moved on from the Pillman saga until Dustin turns on his wife and dumps her. Really good acting from both.
soup23
The segment was good and played correctly but I am still not sure how well this type of marriage relation stuff plays out on a wrestling show. I know Golddust gets really weird, really quick.
(BP)
This could have set up a more serious, dangerous version of the Goldust character, but they went with the parody costumes and shock value stuff instead. Dustin was also suddenly in the worst shape of his career like overnight.
PeteF3
This was a pretty big out-of-nowhere shocker, since even in-the-know fans figured it would be Marlena who was turning. Dustin promises to reveal his "true self" which was...different. But this segment works.
Exposer
Big time soap opera segment. Terri is talking about how happy she is about being back with Dustin & Dakota. She's in a great mood in general. Then Dustin just snaps & goes off on Terri telling her that he's spent his whole life sucking up to his Dad or her. He's had enough of it & said when Terri was gone with Pillman (which they don't outright say of course) he found someone else. He said Terri doesn't understand him & know who he is, but this person does. He takes off his wedding ring & slams it in Terri's lap & leaves. Terri & Dustin's acting in this is tremendous. I'm actually not sure how I feel about this. I didn't hate it & thought it was compelling, but I don't know if I'd call it great. It was a really well done segment though.
