He's not a "star" at all, but when I saw the thread subject the name that immediately came to mind was Miz. By that I mean he's totally manufactured and wholly inorganic.

this is absolutely a perfect fit. I may close the thread now if it wasn't for my interest in songs played at strip clubs.

 

When I first went to a strip club, they were still playing Hot Legs 20 years after it was a hit. I am guessing Pour Some Sugar on Me would fit that mold. Anything pre-Sugar that is still in the main event?

So I think the focus should be on inconsistent, highly regarded performers who have very high peaks but overall a rather unimpressive rarely focused on body of work.

Haven't been in one since 2004 but I might hit the club this weekend for pure research purposes, of course.

 

Poison by Alice Cooper played quite a bit at the club I worked at, no idea if it's still in rotation now, or if it was ever a nationwide strip club staple.
