Relevos Suicidas: Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero vs. La Sombra & Volador Jr. 6. CMLL Trios Titles: Los Estetas del Aire (Mascara Dorada/Mistico II/Valiente) © vs. Los Revolucionarios del Terror (Dragon Rojo/Polvora/Rey Escorpion) 7. Mascara contra Mascara: Winners of #5 Quote
KrisZ Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Rush match just finished up and Rush is the god damn man. Quote
tim Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Rush/Casas trios ruled. Casas' double stomp was nasty as hell. Quote
soup23 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Rush vs. Casas teeing off on each other was super. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 My computer is a POS and the feed kept dying so I gave up after the second match. Annoyed I missed the Casas/Rush trios. Will try and catch Averno v. Panther now Quote
goodhelmet Posted September 14, 2013 Author Report Posted September 14, 2013 Rush-Casas trios was awesome but over way too quick. I am spoiled by the 80s set. Quote
soup23 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Brilliant wrestling in the first caida and a beautiful submission to win it for Panther. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Quick second fall is typical of CMLL singles matches. Really this match has been exceptionally disappointing so far Quote
KrisZ Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 This is starting to get really good Quote
Hollinger. Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Third fall picked up a lot. Quote
khawk20 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Love the Abdominal Stretch with the hammerlock. Quote
soup23 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Is it typical for an apuestas match to result in a no pin situation like this one has? Quote
Dylan Waco Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Third fall was really great, with a finish I didn't like. I would have preferred this be worked more violent since it was hair v. hair, but for the style they worked it's hard to complain. Quote
KrisZ Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 AWESOME ENDING.....the reason why Tirantes wasn't counting pins is because this was a submission match. Quote
tim Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 I thought that match was really great. As short as it was the hold working in the first fall was awesome and the third fall was just great. Really good deliberate, struggle-filled submission work and the multiple dive spot was awesome. Quote
soup23 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 I was to surprised with how they worked this match but perhaps it was because of the main event and how that match will be worked. I did like the stuff in the first fall and the third fall built into a great climax. I would have no problems calling this at least very good to great overall. Quote
KrisZ Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 The reason why this wasn't your normal hair match is because they were working submission rules so this was a title match style in a hair match setting. Quote
Hollinger. Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Panthers hate topes were badass Quote
WingedEagle Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 The Rush/Casas trios was way too short. A shame they couldn't squeeze find those minutes elsewhere in the undercard. Quote

Panther and Casas worked their hair v. hair a lot like this last year, though that match was better than this one. I think because Panther is a world class maestro there is probably an expectation there. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 The Rush/Casas trios was way too short. A shame they couldn't squeeze find those minutes elsewhere in the undercard. That is the story of their whole feud so far. Sub-fifteen minute trios, with insane pacing and sick levels of violence Quote
